What's the purpose of these other than to be a frustrating challenge, before and after taming? This really looks like a pointless update, especially since they kill your chickens. Why would you want them to do that?

Since enchanting is fully random it's better to just give the player enchanted stuff in the map rather than xp where they may or may not get the enchantment needed. So until there's a proper usage for xp (random enchanting is improper to me) the xp bottles are pretty useless in a custom map :S

@anistuffs It could still be a nice prize for hidden areas as a bonus. Maybe then you could give someone a bonus on their weapon that they wouldn't have already have. Not a required enchantment, just a sort of bonus.

this means you can have you chickens being breed on on level than your cats on the other. use pistons to release water and push the chickens to the cats and let the cats do the work :) you could also have a seperate lever to release the cats if you want to gain experiance from killing the chickens.
