Cloth earcups suck. Have had those and leatherette. Okay if you don't like the feel of the leathrette, I understand. But Leatherette is very durable, easy to clean and sound is channeled better.

I think you have to spend times and try to find stores that have headset demo. In my city actually have a small store which consists Razer, SteelSeries and Logitech all in there. I went to try it a few months ago and it was truly awesome. Spent like 2-3 hrs there. (I'm living in Viet Nam in case you're wondering)

@RossTheBalla05 Don't. I just got one and the cable wich you plug in to the headset it self is lose so very often the left speaker loses sound. Its not completly mute but half of the sound goes away. It will happen whether you are careful or not.

The sound is really great and I LOVE wathing movies in 5.1 sound :)

For gaming it's Great , not perfect because not many games suports 5.1 or 7.1

The mic is PERFECT no background sound and the voice is perfect :)

@ericandre89 Depends, if you have enough money to pay for megalodon, which cost $150.00, steelseries 7h $130.00, I preffer razer if you have enough money plus it has better sound quality, if you want a good quality, but cheaper go for the steelseries, it is worth it, I don't really need high end, I have tried both, they are good, but megalodon beats the steelseries, but it costs a lot more, and steel series is a good gaming quality headset also cheaper.

Don't buy these, I've owned them since release and they have many things wrong with them. Sound from one ear stops working randomly, have to mess around with the headset to get it working, it's because of lack of support on the pins connecting each side. The mic picks up all noise... Even your music etc and this is with the leatherette earcups in!! So expect angry friends on skype etc.

Also the biggest problem with these is that when the cable moves a lot of the time, it produces a horrible cr

I have the logitech G35's and they are pretty good overall. However I will be replacing them soon due to a muddied sound that they have developed after almost a year of use (Bass isn't too clear it rumbles with a raspy sound if that makes any sense- like a fart in your ear, no joke) . I was looking at replacing them with these as they seem to be pretty good for the price.

@Spirky7 Yea they're still working fine, they work great, awesome sound. I've only had them for about 3 weeks now, so can't say much about how they will do in the long run. The build quality on these is really great though, so I doubt I'll have any problems.

It's the 3rd pair of headsets I buy from them (two 5H v2 USB and 1 month ago the 7H USB). ALL 3 OF THEM BROKE WITHIN THE FIRST 90 DAYS. High prices and extremely low durability.

I'm going to listen to the more experienced fellas and to my father (he has worked for about 30 years in the HI-FI department of a big deparment stores) and switch to Sennheiser. I've had enough with the Steelseries crap.
