@GrauesZimmer The only reason you're getting rap is because you generalized and asked if Funks EVER uses new choreo. Just let it go. If you're not a fan of FunksSF then you don't have to be, but there's nothing productive in arguing over nonsense or sparking something over an ignorant comment like that
@GrauesZimmer What do you consider new? Sure, the first piece is from a few years ago (as a nod to the history and legacy of Funks), but the second was debuted at this show, and the rest of the pieces have only been performed at a couple shows over the past few months. I'm sure that if you watch sets from other groups, you'll see that this is common practice as it is nearly impossible to prepare brand new sets for every show.
@dbao exactly it was from years ago. just like in their last set the "go head" piece. that's lame. Of course I know that they repeat sets but at least the pieces should be new. gosh.
@GrauesZimmer I'm sorry, but if you still can't realize that the rest of the pieces in this set are new, then I can't help you. Two of them were first performed in Dec 2010, two were first performed in Feb 2011, and as I already mentioned one was debuted at the show. Wait for a video of the full set to see what I'm talking about.
@GrauesZimmer@dbao The beginning piece was used as a way to introduce the new Funks SF. This season is an entirely new batch of dancers, and this team wants to live up to the legacy that the OG Funks had in previous years. Using this as an intro was a symbolic statement of saying that Funks SF is back.
do you dance? because if you did, then you would understand how things vary with what every dance team does. and do you know the ins & outs of the relationship of this dance team and their directors? probably not so you shouldn't be one to judge them. many other dance teams put together and take apart their sets all the time and they can still be phenomenal.
that's song 2:01

do they ever come up with new choreo instead of doing old pieces in their sets?

@dbao help me? it's lame when they use pieces from old medleys! is that so hard? it's not about doing the same MEDLEY more than once.

@GrauesZimmer You asked whether or not Funks comes up with new choreo and I gave you as thorough of an answer as you could possibly want.
V, sorry to blow up the comments on your video with this hahah. Funks did great.

@dbao you are dumb as hell. I'm sorry. they are lame to use old pieces from years ago. that was my point. and you bother me with crap.

@jo7electrique stop bothering me. if they do pieces that are years old it is lame! gosh. wtf is wrong with you? my favourites teams don't do that.
