This may be the greatest compliment i've ever said. You must be Howard Shore. You must be him. Tolkien and Peter Jackson would be incredibly proud of you. Play in the Hobbit. And keep working with your heart.
Could u tell us what u use for the bottom midi controller? By the way, thanks for demonstrating that we can do more with our ten fingers than just play melody and a chord or two.
@outertoon Hey, thanks :) The bottom keyboard is in fact a synth. A Korg Triton LE. So I have the benefit of using the onboard Korg sounds at the same time as I send midi signals to the computer.
If you read the books you will get a lot more attached to boromir. Thats why I felt the fellowship of the ring was a bit empty, it left out so much emotion.
@PickleShaman if you watch the full versions of the movies theres alot more of Boromir and alot more to the story. much closer to the books but still no Tom Bombadil
Here's something strange. I just watched The Fellowship Of The Ring again and when this scene came on, I realized that the song 'Adagio in D Minor' by John Murphy is quite similar to this piece of music. Search it up for yourselves, the similarity is quite striking.
i was only 4 or 5 when the first lotr came out and during the part where gandalf fell i understood what was going on and cried along with the rest of the fellowship during the scene when they get out of moria
@21supsup I didn't cry for Gandalf! I knew he will come back from the laudry with a beautful dress whiter than white, and all clean, and then kick Saruman's ass. I just felt sorry for the Balrog. Yeah, I know, he schouldn't have to be Morgoth's maiar, but hey...maybe he has a crappy childhood.
*Feels his eyes tearing up every time he hears this. Remembers crying heavily when he saw Merry and Pippin curled up on the ground sobbing after Gandalf had fallen.*
Soo.....Sweet Gandalf's my favorite out of the team i almost cried when he fell but me and my brother were having a competetion to see who cried first after i won i started crying secretly =-) I thought Gandalf was being a jerk when he yelled at Pippin for accidently dumping the bucket into the water works the first time i saw it.... But then i understood why he yelled at Pippin for such a thing....
This scene and song made me really feel 'the darkness' in the story. The movie is way too cheery if you compare it to the book. Nobody from the fellowship dies after the first movie... feels quite weird to me if you tell me the whole world is in danger XD
@airpro689 man u dont have to b a nerd to like lotr esspecially the books i know soilders who have fort in war and love it , its such a deeep story about life and death and freindship good and evil, nothing nerdy about that man,
i cried too , and i cried even when boromir was killed :_: my both Hero´s the movie dead..i dont want watch the next part until one of my Friends explained to me that gandalf will come back ( i dont know the books )
@mariuskorpi why the fuck would you--- ah fuck it, i cried too lol and i always get teary eyed when i see this , when Frodo shouts Gandaalllffff, always gets me..
this song is very very good. imagine of some scenes in "the hobbit" with gandalf or beorn and let your minds drift away. tolkien was such a great writer, and the lotr-music is so awesome.
