i have a quaker 2 his name is puffin my aunt found him on top of her car and she gav him 2 me and as soon as we brought him home he started making all these sound affects and now hes started 2 talk just like pluto

but he is a bit vicous wen hes inside his cage is it bcuz i keep him in the cage for 2 long i want 2 teach him not 2 b viscous any advice?

@ChrissyandJessyXOXO I'm not sure that that that's because you keep him in the cage too long. Quakers are notoriously territorial. My Dad is determined to teach my Penny not to bite when she's coming out. Near as I can tell the only thing learned from "man vs. bird" is that my Dad should wear gloves when he gets her out.

I have a Quaker, he is a cinnamon green. About six months ago, its believed he had a stroke and became paralyzed. He can no longer stand or walk or do any of that so he has to crawl. @TheCpLOVE1 i have a quaker that constantly talks and makes noises just keep repeating. for mine i used a high voice that matched his tone he picked the words up faster and we put him buy a window and he began talking to the other birds outside and miking there chirps . When ur bird talks or does something correct just reward with love or a treat

@burrellkarina I had a Quaker fly away before. He was microchipped and I put up flyers, contacted every humane center and vet office in 50 miles and mailed out postcards to 300 people in my neighborhood. He was found by someone who knows a person at one of the places I contacted and he was returned. I just wanted to tell someone out there to not give up hope. They can be found. In my case he was gone for 3 days and was found next to the river on the ground near a park bathroom.
