  • One of my favourite tunes of all time.

    Love it.

  • I agree with you, one of my favorites too!! Love the easy smooth flow of the music.

  • I can recall, as a young boy, around eleven years of age, really kicking it, to this tune. I mean, I would put it on, and sit down, and just relax, listening, to Glenn Goins, awesome voice, I might add, and Jerome on the traps, and Bernie's genuis. Laid back funk, at it's best. Good luck

  • Andre 3000's influence for sure!

  • You can hear it all in his rhymes and production.

  • "When your ups lift you down

    Your placebo is too weak

    You're in the Syndrome"

    Sir Nose! Get it?

  • placebo syndrome = cocaine addiction

  • I kind of figured thats what they were talking about in this song!

  • actually the placebo syndrome was referring to the influence that disco music had on the industry at that particular time...easy to come to the conclusion of a drug reference though,as most of their music was conceived in a haze of psychotropic drugs..(this is not my own theory this was told to me directly from the mouth of bootsy himself)

  • @bigclipper, with all due respect, Bootsy didn't write the lyrics. I've asked George Clinton in an interview if Sir Nose was an alien. GC said: 'No, he's a cool white dude.' I didn't get it at the time...

  • Aw man, I used to fall asleep to this.

  • It doesn't get any better. only true Parliment fans no bout this here. No Syndrome, no life - - trust that!!!
