well..double time is exactly that. if you normally make your beats in 80,i.e, then set your tempo to 160, and expand your step sequencer to 8 bars instead of 4. You do that by changing the numbes in the top left corner of the sequencer. You can set it in your project setting before you begin..or on every pattern as you go.
