@SuperColonel77 if you don't have a, urgh..'graphics card' (aka display driver). how the hell are you on youtube then? ^^ and you're running xp, that doesn't tell a lot about your specs that's just your operating system. and morrowind came out like 9 years ago, so if you're pc has been bought inside say a 5 year period it will run it, probably with the highest settings too. (sure as hell my five year old school laptop does)

Wow, a little TLC and it already looks better than TESIV: Oblivion in my personal opinion. The atmospheric conditions combined with the visual enhancements really takes this outdated gem to new, refreshing heights. If I were a credible video game critic, I would rate these improvements from the video alone with 4.7 stars out of 5. Cheers!

@xXaltowolfXxmp3 I played on XP similar year computer. didn't use graphics mods, but game and all other mods seemed to work fine. it was actuallly still a beautiful game and I didn't even have graphics card, just a regular ol' graphics chip. the MGE (graphics extender) MAY give you a hard time without a g-card though. otherwise I'd play on PC anyway. all game mechanics will run smoother on PC and you'll have MUCH less crashes. oh and glitches can be fixed without having to reload game.

yeah that guy falling from the sky is one of the greatest comedy wtf moments in game history. and those scrolls he had were the greatest. morrowind had some AWESOME scrolls to be found/bought to go with magic inventory. MAJOR bummer Oblivion didn't have any super awsome scrolls. there was only what...3 rare scrolls and they were not THAT cool for one and for two, if you're a collector, you just want to keep them. you guys remember Windwalker and Baleful Suffering scrolls for example (in MW)?

I don't get it why people complain about the graphics. First of all, it's an old game, from 2002, so deal with that. Besides, this game is genius. Why? Because you can do what you want, can go to any place you want. You can hump Dagoth Ur on level 1, BECAUSE YOU CAN. and there is sooooooo many more. But you'll have to figure that out for yourself. This game is just one of the best RPG's ever.

hmph, when I first downloaded mge, I had a FEW bugs, but those were easy to get rid of, suchs as Vality's grass where it has collision, whereas to jsut untick it.BUT after I dwonload Clothiers of VVardenfel, whenever I look north, I lag to death (Not like a crapp pc running oblivion on max graphics, but jsut an irritating but of lag) yet after I try to find out wahts wrong, theres no information...And yet, its ONLY outside in vvardenfel, no Mournhold etc.

Reading through, I have to say it is not about the graphics. Morrowind has what a lot of games lack, freedom. Not to mention limitless re-playability. I have had the game since it came out, and still have new things to do, and the construction set makes things even more interesting. Sacrifice epic graphics that are realistic to allow more room for fun. This is one of the only games I have had for a very long time, most I sell as they are not as replayable as this. Darn character limits!

Not to mention that for the graphics (which I think are good) they still managed to give it atmosphere, which many games have trouble with. Morrowind's graphics could be better than their original state, yes. But I would enjoy it less. I accept that many people would prefer this style, I'm just saying that I don't think I would.
