its good to listen worship good andf listen to music and feel your compassion towards God but thats not what gets you to heaven. If you have REAL love and compassion towards God then lay down you life and never quit doing/trying whats right through and with God. that shows REAL love and compassion towards God. music doesn't. Thats a prayer that damns many to hell, you post it up here and lead people to believe all it takes is the repetition of those words for salvation. What sort of superstition is that, how is that biblical? Where did Jesus ever say "Repeat after me?" You have good intentions but this does not help
@92JesusFreak I agree it takes more than just repeating some words, but many say those words because they believe, even if they don't feel the full weight of their sins at the time. Like the prodical son who leaves, but returns to the father and asks forgiveness, with his sins weighing him down, so too, is those that believe but have strayed away. The question is will they realize this and return to the Father like the prodical son. That's why He uses us to call the lost to Him. Agree?

In the Bible, the old covenent taught the "works" that must be done for the Jews to attain Heaven. The sacrafices, the services, all the actions. They no longer mattered because Jesus opened the gates of Heaven. We must work towards Heaven though. Just saying "Jesus I accept you as my own personal savior" means nothing. He is ALL of our savior, not your personal one. If we aren't Christ to others, then faith is not enough. You must SHOW IT.

homosexuality isn't a sin. the only reason that's in scripture is because the jews saw the romans engage in homosexuality all the time and they hated the romans because of the persecution. some things we take literally and other things we recognize as products of the time.

I like what mark driscoll said. The cross is an offence to sinners. The only people who are not offended by Jesus are the humble and repentant. God makes it really clear in the bible (especially the book of Romans) that anything but union with a man and a woman is sin. God is holy and he wants us to be holy like him. Homos and lesbians are not "taught that way", that's complete bullshit. I've met enough of them to know that they could not act or have a different kind of sexual orientation and even if they tried they would not be able to stop genetically being who they are. I'm a Catholic but I'm not going to deny that reality. The passage in Leviticus is not meant to be taken literally. The Romans considered homosexuality a form of masculinity, so the Jews hated it. That's why it says that.
My friend genetics only determine the physical characteristics of a person, genetics may give an urge but they do not make a person become gay or lesbian. There are three factors in every persons life Genetic, Enviormental, and Spiritual factors. We can first see in Romans 1:24-32, Leviticus 18:22,23 18:24 and 20:13 that God says that alternate lifestyles are not only sin but an abomination. therefore it is the persons choice not a not genetics that determines that the lifestyle.

If God was all factual, then people would not have a debate about people's sexuality. Doesn't the Bible mention something about loving one another? Too many people are walking around the planet and nobody has the balls to tell them the Truth. We are all called to be witnesses of Christ. As i started to turn the car a drunk came and started hitting me through the window of my car.. i didn't know what to do. Thats a prayer that damns many to hell, you post it up here and lead people to believe all it takes is the repetition of those words for salvation. What sort of superstition is that, how is that biblical? Where did Jesus ever say "Repeat after me?" You have good intentions but this does not help

@92JesusFreak I agree it takes more than just repeating some words, but many say those words because they believe, even if they don't feel the full weight of their sins at the time. Like the prodical son who leaves, but returns to the father and asks forgiveness, with his sins weighing him down, so too, is those that believe but have strayed away. The question is will they realize this and return to the Father like the prodical son. That's why He uses us to call the lost to Him. Agree?

Well...if one is talking to God could we assume that they in-fact believe. The word says that everyone is given a measure of faith. And to claim that God has shut his ear to anyone is a lofty and dangerous statement; you have therefor set your self to know His ways and pass judgement over that which He says you cannot understand. Seriosly, watch the language, but yeah. Do some reasearch on the bible and how it was created. Go further read other history books in the reigon and time frame of the bible. I'll give you some info now.The very few (<10 I believe) Socrates' documents have been copied over 500 years after his timeframe or more. The new testaments earliest document was 100 years after the time frame and their are many thousands of copies. you should look at how carful those old men copied God's word.

In the Bible, the old covenent taught the "works" that must be done for the Jews to attain Heaven. The sacrafices, the services, all the actions. They no longer mattered because Jesus opened the gates of Heaven. We must work towards Heaven though. Just saying "Jesus I accept you as my own personal savior" means nothing. He is ALL of our savior, not your personal one. If we aren't Christ to others, then faith is not enough. You must SHOW IT.

True, matter on earth is created by atoms, cells and such, but have you ever taken a really close look at the physical make up of these particles? They are so complex. to the people who wrote how homosexuality is a "choice": so I'm guessing God never judges you on what you do, and that I should never judge your heterosexuality...? When did you decide that heterosexuality was right for you? Bet you never heard that question asked. Also, Leviticus never mentions anything about women lying with women...Jesus befriended the outcasts, the blind, the lepors...isn't it His path you're trying to follow? Learn from his examples that are everywhere in the Bible.

when the bible says man lying with a man. He means men sleeping with a man in a way he would with his wife. and when He said man lying with man is wrong. He also ment Women lying women wrong. ;D women should not sleep with other women in the way she would with her husband. During that time, it was more common for homosexual men than women, but during those chapters He said It's unnatural for a women to have sex with women. So homosexual women is wrong.

I am just assuming that the descusion going on is aboot homosexuality. Well your all saying the right thing aboot it but who ever is for it that you trashtalking to isnt going to change because you hate him. to that guy or girl i have one thing to say. I like what mark driscoll said. The cross is an offence to sinners. The only people who are not offended by Jesus are the humble and repentant. God makes it really clear in the bible (especially the book of Romans) that anything but union with a man and a woman is sin. God is holy and he wants us to be holy like him. We are not christians if we do not have the truth in us.

Homos and lesbians are not "taught that way", that's complete bullshit. I've met enough of them to know that they could not act or have a different kind of sexual orientation and even if they tried they would not be able to stop genetically being who they are. I'm a Catholic but I'm not going to deny that reality. The passage in Leviticus is not meant to be taken literally. The Romans considered homosexuality a form of masculinity, so the Jews hated it. That's why it says that.

My friend genetics only determine the physical characteristics of a person, genetics may give an urge but they do not make a person become gay or lesbian. There are three factors in every persons life Genetic, Enviormental, and Spiritual factors. We can first see in Romans 1:24-32, Leviticus 18:22,23 18:24 and 20:13 that God says that alternate lifestyles are not only sin but an abomination. therefore it is the persons choice not a not genetics that determines that the lifestyle.

Agreed 100% the genes in a human's brain do not determine what a person thinks, believes, or acts on. I have read the books you mentioned and Leviticus Clearly states, "If a man lies with a man, as one lies with a woman, he must be put to death his blood will be on his own hands." And i believe i quoted that directly so from what i can tell and what should be obvious is that God don't like no homos lol

Its not that God does not love the person who is homosexual, He loves them just as much as He loves straight people, but He hates the lifestyle the homoexuals are living in because that is not what He intended for them and its is destroying their life.

If God was all factual, then people would not have a debate about people's sexuality. Doesn't the Bible mention something about loving one another? In terms of loving, it never says anywhere that loving one another is wrong. Love is interpreted and presented in so many ways in the Bible...love could be sexual, but it could also mean caring/ being with another person. Just as you do not want people questioning or judging you on your heterosexuality, don't judge others. it's not all sexual

Im not saying Loveing one another is wrong, God commands that we love one another (Matt. 22:37-39). God says in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 what love is. But in Leviticus chapter 18 it clearly states whats right and wrong when it comes to sexual lifestyles.

weekend thing call Winter fest and i got to see him and my heart for the longst time had this havely to it and that night i got saved and when i got saved it was like the havelyness was gone and i got to see teen that truely loved the Lord and i always thonte that it wasn't cool but the night i got saved it was like the love of the Lord just came in

No being is perfect, except God Himself. People with homosexual tendencies are no different from any other human. Being homosexual (having "tendencies") is not a sin, only the action angers God. It's kind of hard to believe that anyone could listen to this song and judge another person for who they are/what they've done. If anyone has accepted Christ, then they know God's mercy is BOUNDLESS. To say someone else is damned is to pass judgement, which is not OUR job but God's alone, so don't do it

I'm sorry, but how are they supposed to know they are doing something that angers God if nobody tells them? Too many people are walking around the planet and nobody has the balls to tell them the Truth. We are all called to be witnesses of Christ. You're ripping them off by not sharing the gospel with them, sharing Jesus's love with them, and telling them that they need to turn from sin, repent, and accept Jesus into their lives.

You know if they want to know how you are different if you act like it.... then they will come to you and ask you... I am pentecostal and I get judged all the time. By everyone..... I'm not gay or homosexual but still..... You need not judge people because of their belief! It is not right!!!!! If you judge someone then when the trumpet sounds you will get judged by your actions here on earth!!
