I could see she got turned by the time the arrow was about to hit her so you'd only get one lung at best...without hittin the heart if it did go low...oh well, glad to hear you put in a good effort to try and find her. She won't be wasted as you well know...lots of living stuff out there ready to take advantage of her nutrition

Deer can be like humans too...in that some of them are tough as nails and they don't go down as easy as others will

Should have gave that deer 6hrs + and you should try rage you wont lose a deer

@BASScrusherALLday well the shot look good to us, we did give 1hr, was shot with a blood runner, we do use rage as well had some good and bad luck with them, but mostly good, but if had to do over would have done it all the same, evan with 6hr with the coyotes in the area they would have got to her first any way, thanks for the comment

That sucks, but it happens. Brody shot 2 does this past bow season and elected to back out only to fund the next morning that the coyotes got them. He killed 4 deer this year, but 2 of them ended up feeding the yotes. So he went back and trapped to yotes. One good turn deserves another I guess. Do you guys do any predator hunting?

ugh.... as yall know that happened to me last week of bow season, feeling sucks but trust me it gets better lol iam just looking forward to this season, it starts on october first for us this year instead of the 15th, and iam looking at getting a new bow for this season, leaning toward a hoyt, or maybe a missions, but on the bright side, yall got some nice turkey hunting to look forward to come spring time!
