I Miss the Chessie system and Conrail I spent yrs rding those RRs in toledo witrh family got to take coal drags out iron ore docs ect and ran trains at Stanley yard. but toledo is sad now Mike harding of train orders and rail pics has ruined rail fanning for many. this guys actualy thinks he is the number one rail fan and some sort of rail god. dude is a punk and weak. Does illegal shit all of the time gets us all into trouble. He stays away from my family and freinds now .

@ussoldierrail I like them wide body CN's. I hear they been using them on the DM&IR. I need to make a trip up there this spring. BTW, My son just hired on the the Norfolk Southern. So he is doing something I wish I could have, but the railroads where in such bad shape in the 60's, they wheren't even hiring, unless you where family. So I became a trucker in stead. No after 43 years of driving 18's, I have COPD from breathing diesel exhaust. Oh well, guess it comes with the job. Later brother!

@1jackdk Congrats to your boy. that is great news as NS is a good RR to work for. Unfortuanlety I cohse the US ARMY instead of the RR when I was 17. My parents threw out my entire train layout while i was serving. My son may go for CSX aftre his tour in afghanstan is up. He is on combat mission right now, waiting to hear from him. Worried dad daily! I know I gave part of my knee in 1991 to Iraq~LOL. We rail fan NS daily toledo east west

Sad to see our young rail fans having GEVOs and SD70aces ugly gen stes and the EPA taking apprt our entire country since 1970s. The kids now have to deal with Hoameland security stuff. @ussoldierrail Sorry my bad spelling~ I ment I am covr'd in tats and I am 5'10 245 pounds. I lift eat and lift and train a small number of people in knife fighting tech. I sent my son to combat with two combat knives and tained him for 3 yrs how to use them or any object as a weapon. I dont follow UFC or any of that. No time. trains are my number one love next to family. I had to put a CSX official back in his truck about 4 yrs ago aftre he tried to confront my wife and harras her. I won LOL
