  • I absolutely love The Mzungu Quick Draw camera strap. I should have purchased 2 of them. It looks like Roger released a 2nd version which I don't like. I'm hoping he has a supply of the original.

  • I have a question, in the video you have the strap attached to the BODY and not the lens, I thought with the 70-200 you need to take the weight OFF the body and use the lens ? Explain please.... Thanks Boss,

  • Love it ! This is the one. Wish I had found this one a long time ago. Great price too. Plus it doesn't tie up the tripod mount on your camera. You can keep your tripod quick release plate mounted to the camera while you use the Quick Draw Camera Strap. Works like a charm.

  • It looks to me like a painful version of the Black Rapid straps.

  • Theft due to attaching the strap in this video or any other strap is ridiculous unless you live in a ghetto neighborhood. If you do live in the ghetto neighborhood, chances are you cant even afford a nice dslr. The only real crime is paying $20 for this. I'm sorry, but the consumers need to know there are way superior products out there that may or may not be in the same price range.

  • The Quick Strap on ebay is $25-$26 or you can bid and get it for less. Anyhow, I'd rather pay the extra $6 and get free shipping than get the one in this video. The Quick Strap is supposed to be an alternative to the famous Black Rapid strap, but 1/2 the cost. The strap in this video, looks like something someone can easily make and pay under $7 to do it.

  • How well does this kind of strap work when walking around? Does the camera tend to swing back and forth? I'm not sure I would like my camera swinging around. Also doesn't it get in the way of your right arm/hand, when walking?

  • This video always makes me laugh. It looks like a pretty handy strap though. Send me one and I'll happily advertise it for you on my vlog ;-)

  • I now have 3 of your straps. Great!

  • I got the strap. WOW !!!! I've tried the 2 straps offered by other companies, similar to yours. The "Y" strap and the R strap. Unfortunately I tried yours last and now I have no use for the other ones. I can't begin to tell you how fantastic your strap is. I have been a photography buff for 30 years, and there's nothing like your strap. I photograph jewelry, fine art and watches for an Internet business. I am a hobbyist photographer as well. SIMPLE SOLUTION FOR A COMPLEX SITUATION!

  • bluefox9er, The camera actually rides very nicely depending on what height you adjust it to. If you adjust the strap to carry it a little higher, say where the camera body is just above the waist line, it rides fine. As far as theft is concerned, I am not sure where you are shooting but you are right. If you are shooting in some sort of war zone or area prone to this type of activity, this is not the strap for you. If you shoot in less crime laden areas, this strap works great.

  • what a waste of money. can you imagine actually walking with your dslr knocking agzainst your back or anyone passing by you? or how easily somone could steal your camera by simply sliding abox cutter acrossd the strap? utter garbage.

  • And how do you carry your camera?

  • @bluefox9er If you haven't tried it, you are missing something great.

  • @bluefox9er your an idiot since you could get jacked no matter what strap you have.

  • It would be better if that clip were climbing grade so if someone tries to yank it off you that aluminum weak link wont break.

Or if your shooting with a monster lens, and you drop it from eye level by mistake there is no chance to snap the link.

I like this strap though, its quite nice :)

Anyone can replace the link for a decent price just to be 100% sure. For most of the weekend shooters this probably wont be a problem :D

  • I think this strap works better than the R-Strap. The sling or strap is stationary, and the camera slides up and down.

    I want one. lol

  • This. I made my own strap similar to this, except I have it sewed to the length I like it.
