  • Nice. I use a rubber band to attach macro lenses from my Canon DSLR onto my Vado. Works like a charm.

  • Can the lens get off?

  • @SofaBrandTV how much did the mod cost in total

  • edges are a little blurred but very nice

  • so as well as small wide angle lenses it would work for the rite size fish eye?

  • do u know were to buy them please send me a messege when u find out

  • where did you buy these?? :)

  • I can not believe you would sit a soda can on your laptop like that..

  • How much do these lenses run?

  • fuckin genius. put it on the case

  • Wow! i agree great idea putting it on the case! instead of the actual camera :)

  • with the pack of step up rings you get with the wideangle lens, do one of the rings come with an inside that small to fit the vado's lens? or did you have to modify it. and if you did, how did you make it?

  • sexy shit

  • cool i am set on vado over flip ultra hd

  • hey man i just bought a Vado HD. I see that you have a Mac and was wondering on what program did you use to change the video format to work on the Mac

  • That mod is great, the Pepsi can seems to be much sharper with the first lens you put on.

  • would this work with a macro and if so, is there one that you recomend?

  • Have you tried a 2x telephoto converter?

  • would it be possible for me to buy one off you?

  • what do you need besides the lens? Is it difficult?

  • gotta find a space thats a quarter of an inch thick with the inner diameter that fits around the whole lens housing good and an outer diameter that can fit super snug inside one of the step up rings that comes with the lens

  • do u have any links to where and what kind ti buy? Im not sure i want to look at a million lens to get right one

  • Comment removed

  • Cool. I had a dcr vx2000 with a fisheye but I got rid of it the other day, to bulky n heavy to take with me. But this does me well now for random videos n trips

  • How do you do this?

I would like to do this also, but what would I need?

  • you need a sunpak wideangle lens spacer that has the inner radius of the lens thats on the actual vado and the outer radius that fits the best with one of the set up rings that comes with the lens, make sure the spacer is atleast a quarter of an inch thick

then just attach it all together and gorrila glue it on the skin. its a lot of work, i found the space laying around the house but something at a local hardware store might work.

  • Okay, so I buy a spacer and glue it to the skin,

    Then

    I buy this... (amazondotcomslash)

    /Sunpak-CAL-1030KIT-0-5x-Wide-Angle-Rings/dp/B000E9ZHW8

and attach it to the spacer?

Okay well, thank you! And good job.

  • yes indeed! no problem!

just attach the space to what ever size ring it fits. it needs to be flush with i, but its gonna take some playing around but its possible

    good luck on it!

  • good job! This is good :D

The Vado HS already has the most wide angle lens out of the box compared to its competitors . :)
