The artist Robert Gober did this in the early 80's so you might want to have a look at this to refine what your reaching for without showing your lack of awareness of what has come before.

Goodness gracious! I'm simply blown out of all proportional socket!! Blown away up through in over away again!!! Simply astonishing from the text at the beginning through the wit with the blah blah through the insane juxtaposition of the collage of paint- paint- paint- video- effects- music --basement. Astonished. You made my evening! ~cg5
Absolutely mesmerizing. No words could do this justice. I couldn't look away.... An artist myself I can appreciate the time, effort, creativity, and pure genius this possesses. This is... a masterpiece.
Lots and lots of colors, random, wonderfull accidental and purposefull directions, all have the eyes, deep, filled with the river of creativity, endless worlds of emotions, certainly takes advantage of ones right to choose any feeling, color, meaning, beginning and ending,... thanks for the adventure...
Bob - this is absolutely terrific - I have worked in publishing, radio, and television - and believe me - I know great, clever, original stuff when I see it! Thanks for posting!
Thanks for sending me this video; it is positively marvelous! Fascinating idea. I realized that tool a tremendous amount of time to do!
It reminds me of an old group from the 1970s that did surreal videos and performances and did a number of time-lapsed paintings similar to yours for some of their videos. They were called The Residents and I have an old collection of their videos. Wonderful job!!
What lurks in the minds and basements of men!! This was KICKIN!! A tasty treat for a Sat. afternoon if I say so!! You sure got someTHING Bob! Cheers, Meg
I like the feel and movement within the time lapse and the music.
The pinched ascending words near the beginning were a bit hard for me to read, until (ironically) they read simply "blah blah blah....". Perhaps it was how YouTube digitized the video. Or perhaps the word "blah" is easier to digitize without blurriness or pixilation.
Thanks for the comments. I did the sound track using acid music loops to create the "music." It's hard to say how long it took to produce the show because it 's a combination of different projects. Let's just say it took a while.
I checked out your YT site and thought your music was great. You look so young for having such a mature voice. People should check it out!
Wow, Bob the kid and I were blown away! Well I was more so, as he is only 18 months old! lol Thanks for sharing this art by you as it is top notch and I have too say uniquely original as I believe I am stumped at how you even do it! I applaude you and look forward too witness more of your artistic creations with my son on my lap for many years! Well, a couple more as he is getting heavy and hard too hold and type! lol Take care and keep me posted!
Amazing. I can't imagine how many paintings or hours or months it took to create this! Very creative.
