  • hey bro, would you say that the 85 1.4G is sharper than the 24-70 2.8G?

and great job on the videos very informative

  • @GacusanAMVs yes, the 85mm 1.4G is sharper than the 24-70. One of the sharpest lenses I own.

  • nice review sir. quiet understanding video. keep up this kind of great review.

  • man your videos are awesome, informative, and simple. You really focus on the subject matter, from now on I watch you instead of Jeard Polin lloll, keep'em coming!

  • @cicarelliphotography Thanks for the comment! Wish I can do more videos like Dombower and FroKnowsPhoto but I just dont have the time. Maybe this off season I can do more.

  • Good review, however, it's pronounced bokeh NOT bokah. (I live in Japan and it's painful to hear "bokah")

  • Great info bro..thanks,..would it be possible for you to do a video and show how you do portraits from your studio. light settings, angles, camera and lenses? I saw your website and your works is awesome bro. your work is very inspiring, and will love to see your portraits....peace bro !!

  • @indorican1 Thanks for the comments regarding my work! It is greatly appreciated! All shots are done onsite because I do not have a studio. I use as much natural light as possible but Ill use light if I cannot get the effects that I want. Ill do my best to come up with a video to answer your questions. Thanks again!

  • hey! what do you think about the tamron 70-200 f2.8? if you have a low budget, would you consider that as an alternative to the nikon 70-200 f2.8?

  • @ctenarie i like the sigma 70-200mm f2.8 better. if you can, go with a used Nikon 70-200 vr VERSION 1. The Version 1 is another great alternative or even a used 80-200mm f2.8. If i had a choice between a used Nikon or new 3rd party, Id always go with a Used Nikon hoping the one you will be purchasing is in great condition and bought from the actual original owner.

  • JUST WONDERING...

do you use any filters? ND? Polarized?

  • @TheJcbravo I dont use any filters other than a UV filter on my lenses. I may start to experiment in the future tho.

  • your such a great photographer..

  • @stanglova86 thanks.

  • @DMGFotos Hey Darwin! Who does your website?! Its awesome

  • @johnjohn129 Hey ~ sorry for the delay. its by bludomain.

  • what lens and body did u use on ur wedding pictures..

  • @stanglova86 Many different types. It depends on the situation.

  • Thanks for your videos! I bought the tamron 24-75mm, the 70-200 vrII, and the 85 mm 1.4 because your first video and I'm very happy with all the lens.

You can see my last videos on youtube and notice the difference in the quality of the pictures.

    So Thanks again!.

  • @davidabr1964 Glad to know I was able to help!

  • 24-70 2.8 or the 70-200 2.8 ?

  • @johnny48166 It depends on what you will be photographing? If you are going to do weddings, you really need both, but youll find the 24-70mm f2.8 to be more useful focal length than the 70-200mm f2.8 . If its going on a full frame body, the 24-70mm is an excellent choice. For sports and portraits, Id go with a 70-200mm f2.8.

  • should i get the nikon 70-200mm or 85mm ?

  • @itscaseplace It depends on what will you be using the lenses for? The 70-200mm is more versitile and the 85mm is more of a specialty lens. You can get away with not having the 85mm if you have the 70-200mm. But the 70-200mm is a MUST HAVE lens for pros.

  • great video !!! very informative without being overly technical :)

  • Great video, keep them coming.

  • what do you think about the new 35mm 1.4g?

  • @Sinwori Not too much of a fan of the 35mm 1.4. Id rather go with a 24mm 1.4 instead. 35mm is to close to 50mm in terms of focal length.

  • hey good video! i completely agree a 70-200 2.8 lens is a general purpose all around good lens to have. i have the sigma version and its good for me, cuz im no pro or its not my full time job. but i plan on getting the VR1 version of the 70-200, when i get more money. and just wanted to say you have awesome pictures, i truly look up to you, your pictures are amazing! did you go to school for this?

  • @ithree6mafia Thanks for you comments regarding my work! It is greatly appreciated. From what Ive heard the Sigma is a good lens, and once you upgrade to the VR1, the Sigma would make a perfect back up or walk around lens. In regard to knowledge, I did take some classes, but majority is self taught. However, for me, the best way to learn is to keep shooting and to try and understand how to get better with every shot. Again, thanks for the sub and support!

  • Great review. Keep them coming. Would you put a Filter on the 70-200? Can you do a review on the Nikon 24-70mm. Thanks

  • @NipseyHustle Thanks for the comment! I use filters for all my lenses. I would trade a slight reduction in image quality to protect my investment. You can always fix most things via post production. Ill be doing another video on "MUST HAVE" lenses that will include the Nikon 24-70mm soon.

  • Hey mate, great video. What zoom lens that you have come across would you recomend for a DX sensor camera?

  • @OrientalJimSim the 70-200 or 70-300 or sigma 50-150 are all good choices mate.

  • @OrientalJimSim The lenses ithree6mafia mentioned are good choices and I know the Nikon 70-200 & 70-300mm will work on FX later down the line should you decide to upgrade. If it was up to me, the Version 1 of the 70-200 f2.8 VR is the lens Id invest in if I was shooting DX. Keep in mind, the Version 2 of the 70-200mm benefits the FX sensor more therefore Version 1 should suffice.
