I thin the new Cellular phase (the one above) looks much better than the original. It gives it an original feel, and the old one just didn't look appealing.
i have to admit that i did prefer the 1st version. I really liked that not very many colours idea in the tidal and then the look of the land and all the colours as you became a creature.
NOOOOOOOOO they ruined it, it looked so much better in the first version, this looks too fucking cartoony, and when you get on land, it's still cartoony, and WHY did they take out the water phase :(. I say the game is starting to go down hill, now the only thing I look forward to is the space travel.
ruined? will i bet you never played team fortress and lived to see source version of it, now that looked kinda cartoony but its not bad its great. i hate it when people say the graphics make it look bad its not only about the damn graphics, the graphics just a bonus and they only changed is cell phase, so why the drama?
@mrboxleytheonly yeh i was kinda disappointed when the game came out because i wanted to make a massive whale that could eat anything and was to big to be taken on but now i cant do that :(

you can see some of the old parts on the newer game on enemy creatures tsa shame you cant get them though i think they look cooler

Uh, campopper, this one isn't the NEW cell phase... this was from a version Maxis made about a year before the game's final realize.
