  • Are the Drums analog and the sound itself done by a LSI?

  • @TheMCMXXL - Yes mate, the drums are entirely analog, driven by digital presets (which can be combined). Not sure what LSI is?

  • @squidfanny LSI means "Large Scale integration", wchih means the amount of gates implemented into a Chip to make special functions. Most common old Casio Keyboards use themas a single chip solution for making sound.

  • @TheMCMXXL - Ah, gotcha. There's the big 'chord generator' chip and a couple of frequency divider IC's which perform all the cool stuf on the OM-27. It's a nice big 40 pin chip which handles the scales for the chord/harp. It also handles the tuning for the bass/chord accompanyment, which is sent in the form of trigger pulses from the drum pattern chip. The all important voicing circuits are analog (tranny's/caps/etc)

Really nice to work on vintage gear, nice big componants and no nasty SMD's.

  • Great bend and well played! Really nice!

  • GOOD JOB.

Really Need an Omnichord ; and your Omnichord version is awesome :)

  • Yep, the brown OM-27 is pure class....:)

    Thanks for the compliment!
