  • omfg!!!!! I saw this movie a long long long time ago!!! Ive been trying to find this forever!!!

  • @SamtheVempire me too, it took me a long time to find it, and today was the big day.

  • there is some fantasy in the horror movies, because monsters don't exist. so a real horror movie with things that really exist is a movie with bad or sick people who terrorise the others.

  • The fish should have started singing that Take me to the river, drop me in the water song omg I would have died

  • This video, while high and listening to Simon And Garfunkel's 'Mrs. Robinson'.

    ...wut?

  • >House haunted by worst horrors imaginable

    >Spend the bullets on a fish

  • scared the shit out of me when i first saw this movie, mind you i was 9 lol

  • OMG all tools can flys

  • Jacobès Ladder was a frar superior movie

  • Harold is an asshole.

  • 3:53 The movie wasn't scary at all, just a lot of fun, but this part shocked me really hard.

  • @DrsJacksonn I am buying a replica of her head after it's chopped off.

  • @TheGrassyknollkiller You're gonna scare the crap out of everyone XD. But be careful with the brown and black guys, they'll break your nose instead of run.

  • @DrsJacksonn What do you mean "brown and black guys" and I don't understand and if someone tries to attack me I have a body guard so they can't hurt me anyway.

  • that shit was funny...

  • Nothing better than a gun-slinging gargoyle.

  • @TsucasaElkGSI lol but he missed....or did he?

  • @cartooncam99 Well since I haven't seen much of the movie I can't really say, but what I've gathered is that the house is just manifesting his fears, one of his worst being if his son gets hurt so it goes after his son a lot. I don't think it can or wants to kill him, but then again "Big Ben" tried to cut off his hand and possibly other things I haven't seen yet. I think the Gargoyle was just trying to knock him down, which he succeeded in doing by shooting the rope.

  • This movie scared the hell out of me as a kid! now i love laughing at it! haha

  • @thehawk4231

    Dude... youre A PUSSY! LOL

  • Not only is it the face of the woman-bear-pig, it's the voice.

  • @Linda4447 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ITS MAN BEAR PIG'S MOM

  • whats this movie about?

  • The best scary and horror movies came out in the 80s.

Since then it has been nothing but shit

  • we had a fish like this "dont worry... be happy, dont worry... be happy ououou !"

    lol it was funny :)

  • You would think instead of running away from Big Lady he would just take the Shotgun away from her and beat her with it.

  • this REEEEAAAALLY reminds me of Evil dead 2

  • the house was one of the goofiest horror films ever made. its not even a horror movie, goosebumps the series was better than this...

  • Hugh Laurie makes it impossible to find this movie in a Google search XD

  • I f*ckin love this movie. XD I used to watch it 1 time a week, atleast. Perhaps why I have such an active imagination nowadays hahaha

  • yes ignore the flying dangerous weapons and go back and finish of the fish seeing as how threating it must be

  • lol why cant he just go out side?

  • This along with "Falling Down", are my all time favorite movies.

  • I first saw this film when i was 5 my dad got it from the back of some van before i was born, such an awesome film! well you always think that about films you grow up with : ) love it

  • That witch was actually pretty scary. Then she opened her mouth...

  • what the fuck that fish is moving!!!

  • man this is scary

  • I love how you put scary in the quotes! lol! "Oh no the plastic fish is alive!!"

  • omg one of my all time favorite movies wow im about to watch it now lol

  • I remember seeing this as a kid, the part with Sandy made me jump so high. LoL

  • I don't know how I remember this shit from 20 years ago.

    :0

  • Yeah, the movie itself isn't really scary...but the story behind it is actually pretty cool. It's like a psychological horror story more than anything. The guy is basically dealing with his own personal demons from war that are brought out through the house.

  • I was 5 when this came out and I too remember this 'til this day. It was scarier when I was younger but now it's just whatevers. Those monster kids dragging that kid up the chimney is what used to kreep me out. hahaha!

  • @chiquisbaby81 I was 9 and this movie was straight comedy! I used to laugh my ass off! How can a movie with The Greatest American Hero and "Bull" form Night Court be scary? :D

    I love this shit!

  • my brother that is 19 years older than me took me 2 see this movie at the theaters when i was 6 the movie was so scary 2 me at that age that scared me for life and i remanber i choke on a popcorn 2

  • At 3:50 i saw that part as a kid and im still scarded of that today

  • floor and coming up a ghoul, going into other dimensions through the cabinets and cupboards, the flying tools, the dismembered hand, the zombie vietnamese friend at the end... yeah traumatic stuff... reading the other posts here I wonder why so many 5 year olds around the world were watching this movie... i guess cause the adults saw more overt comedy than horror in it. one of the only other things that terrified me so much as a child was the clown in IT

  • I'm another trauma victim of house, I saw this movie when I was 5 in Iran and I woke up screaming in the night. I didn't know the name of the film until I saw a trialer for it on tv a few years ago and watching it again, realised it was more a comedy, really exorcised the demons in my memory. so many images stayed with me from that time up until the time I saw the film again, the old lady suicide at the begining, the lady bending down to pick the bullet up off the

  • yaay, swedish subtitle. :D

  • i watched this on amc. at like 3 am. reply if u did.

  • Very nice mix of comedy and horror. Hause was real masterpiece in the 80's with great acting and storyline.

I also love Hause 2 and Hause 4 but Hause 3 was Godawful.

  • 3:55 When I was a kid, that scene scared me a lot! lol

  • Same here. As a child, this whole movie was incomprehensibly terrifying to me. While I saw Evil Dead 2 (a very similar mixture of horror and comedy) around the the same time, I wasn't particulary scared or disturbed by it as much as House.

  • lay. off. the. acid.

i remember seeing this movie when i was three or four, right about the time i saw IT on the tele.

  • And what do ya know! It is :P

  • Did Harry Manfredini do the musical score on this film? It sounds a HELL of a lot like the Paramount Friday the 13th scores.

If I didn't know any better I'd say they just took it from Friday. This calls for google!

  • The monster in the closet looks like plagiarism. Remember The Engineer from hellraiser?

  • 7:09I like the sounds in the background. I used to love this movie when i was a kid

  • Know what is just hilarious?

In this one the neighbor is Mr. Peterson from Cheers... in the second one another cast member from Cheers plays a repair man

  • the scene with the fish moving always comes to mind first when i think of this movie

  • 1:49 rofl swordfish seizure

  • Im going to buuy this movie ASAP!

  • Some of this stuff reminds me of resident evil, like the room where he gets the gun and the monster that jumps outta the closet

  • 3:50 scared the crap out of me

  • 4:12 is hilarious. When I was 7 that was and still is my favorite scene!

  • hahahaa i love this movie!!!

    thanks for posting

  • I saw this movie as a kid - Great to find it here:) I love the scene where he goes into the medicine cabinet!

  • One of my favirote movies they just dont make em like this anymore!

  • FIsh is UGLY! But still, that fish didn't do nothing wrong to that guy but sing, "Rolling on the River" like one of those Big Mouth Billy Bass fishes you see that they sell at Spencers gifts stores.

  • @BrianElder My grandfather had one of those. I didn't like it.

  • @BrianElder lol, i agree, poor fish, the guy from this movie would really freak out if he ran into the laughing deer head from Evil Dead 2, that thing is creepy.

  • Man Raimi must have been influenced by this movie. This movie is SO evil dead 2.

  • Too bad Evil Dead came out before this movie...

  • "you're no good, you're no good, you're no good...baby you're no good."

One of the greatest movies of all time

Go to IMDB and increase the rating of this movie. It's sitting at like 5.7 ...I've seen absolute pieces of shit that had a higher rating. This movie deserves a 7.5 atleast.

  • Now this is what a scary movie is all about.

"Now like the cheesy remakes of today!"

  • This is an interesting movie. Really well done.

  • Man, thanks for the upload... Dude seriously, I was looking for this movie a long time.. We used to see it when we were younger! Thx again!

  • lolwut

  • wow... all I have to say is wow...

  • very good

  • A great classic film. I saw it on AMC and about 2 years later i saw it at blockbuster. I rented it and never returned it. It was only $5

  • i remember that film my me n my sister used to hide behind the setee n watch bits of it when my mum was at work.....

  • kickass film!!

  • is this the "horror"movie house or is a parody?

    jajajaja

    very dissaponitment :/

  • HAHAHAHAH

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHA!!!

  • The scene of Robert's attempted kidnapping was more comic relief than scary. XD

  • Good movie. Draws a lot from the 'Evil Dead' series.

  • AH, I do believe that this came out BEFORE the Evil Dead 2, which is where you will find similarities. The moving fish, the flying tools etc.

    Raimi just did them louder!

    Both great films!

  • Also, just remembered, when Mike goes through the bathroom mirror and on his way down he shoots a Harryhousen deadite with a shot gun.

Me thinks Raimi did a little bit of borrowing for the 2nd Evil Dead film!

  • I opologize, the deadite shoots at him!

  • When Sandy comes back up as a monster, I seriously jumped out of my skin. Then I had to take like 5 painkillers to slip back into it. That was an effective scare.

  • LOL! Dårli

  • can someone please put the whole movie on here?

  • WOW this movie has some fucked up monsters lol

  • 4:56, lol. I still can't believe I own this yet after these years.

  • Awesome. I haven't seen this movie since I was around 9.

  • best film I have seen in a long time

  • Wow, this looks like a great movie. How the hell could I miss it? And who was the composer, Danny Elfman? Sounds like him.

  • The music was composed by Harry Manfredini, who also did the score for the Friday the 13th movies. It sounds very similar to the Jason score in some parts:)

  • you should upload the whole movie for every1
