  • omgg!! my french teacher is this girls french teacher! and she says she is amazing!!

  • @wendyvo100

¡ jaja q bien! ¿cuantos años tienes ? yo quiero aprender diferentes idiomas tambien. tengo quinze años. ¿cuando aprendistes todos estos idiomas y como?

  • Her music is so beautiful! I like it!

  • wow, i was fat!!!!!! That is all i have 2 say

  • @wendyvo100 wow wendy

  • What I love most is the youngest and brighest minds are next to wrapping paper wall paper!

  • I used to do this little 'person of the week' thing with myself and sort of forgot about it about six months ago. Let us just say she makes up for the past 24 weeks. Hope she keeps playing music. We here in the electronic organ world sure could use another master like Ethel Smith or Klaus Wunderlich. I know that more than a few scoff at my hopes for her, but you shouldn't. Do you know that people with brilliant minds are just as purposeful in the art world as they are in science. We need both.

  • When comparing Wendy to Emily Bear, I feel pretty sad for Wendy. That she has no wealth to develop her talents.

  • me gustó la canción, pero lo demás no entendí nada :)

  • Be' Mi't de^~ thuong qua'....big kisses

  • De thuong qua!!! She is so cute. Dung la niem tu hao cua nguoi Viet.

  • I love her Southern Vietnamese accent. In previous video her Japanese sounds really nice, although some mistakes can be spotted but it's tolerable for a 8-year-old.

Some say that one's works show one's mind/heart. Her music is a little fast as for a child it's good to be energetic and carefree, yet to be able to understand, listen and compose classical-style music is not something even an adult can do. Usually, a great mind composes classical music and classical music makes other minds greater.

  • when i was about 2 i alreadyk new 7 launguages only 3 of them were actually my race

  • i think she unfortunatley will be arrogant later one..

thos state of 'hyperactive" is like a sign of boredom, having this knowledge at an age where u supposed to look up to adults and learn, she prob feels sourrounded by stupid ppl and alone...

i really hope she can be happy in the furture and find someone who will compete intellectually with her

  • @Loewenbaby07 well, i used to be arrogant. Not anymore though.Actualy, I'm really sweet to everyone but my brother.(he's anoying)

  • You go kute prodigious Vietnamese girl !

  • I am speechless. This girl is so amazing and is such a sweetheart. We will never understand how she has learnt so many different languages at such a small age. And she doesnt only play, but also COMPOSES music! OMG!

  • wow she speaks vietnamese soooo well, i have no idea with Hindi, but i can understand Vietnamese.

  • I can only speak English since I'm from the United States and took Sign Language for two years in High School. This girl is amazing and hopes and wishes to her that she stays this way and continues to progress in her love of learning. Thanks for sharing her knowledge to the world.

  • wow she is amazing. I love that song. I'm a fan!

  • Amazing kid

  • amazing and cute i hope you keep being like this

  • I can only speak English, french, mandarin, dutch,Japanese and Spanish...:(

  • @billnyethe1742 whocares..

  • alright I cant speak much dutch and I mess up the mandarin sometimes but once u know french its easy to learn Spanish and Japanese is my native language and English I was taught in school

  • This is just crazy. I'm feeling sorry for myself.

  • All the languages that she speaks and reads are in no way related to each other. That is simply amazing. Speaking dialects is a totally different thing from speaking languages that are mutually unintelligible.

  • @InquisitiveMind2

Not exactly true. Spanish and Portuguese are very similar. Vietnamese also shares a lot of words with french.

  • @monkeeechic Incorrect, Vietnamese has only a few dozen words borrowed via French like cà phê/café (coffee), xà bông/savon (soap), bom/pomme (apple) and cà vạt/cravate (tie).

  • @viiietdude Yes you're right, i am Vietnamese too

  • she's cute....I'm vietnamese, so proud of her. i think, if you can speak hundreds language but you can't speak your mother tounge, that is ashamed of you. In vietnam, there's a lot of children who can speak foreign language, but can't speak Vietnamese, i'm, however, proud of this girl....

  • i can't speak even 4 languages perfect ly, my dutch, english spanish and german just sucks. wendy realy is AMAZING !!!!

  • She doesn't have any accent in Vietnamese at all! Unless you count the accent of an eight-year-old.

    Very talented girl!

  • look at the way she played the piano, its so cool!

  • 11 languages? holy shit, it's hard enough learning 3 or 4...not to mention the crazy diversity she covers

  • Wendy Vo, wow! You can speak 11 languages? I can only speak 7 (English, Bahasa Malaysia, Hokkien, Spanish, Tagalog, beginner's French and beginner's Cantonese). Currently I'm learning Vietnamese and brushing up on my Mandarin Chinese.

  • Actually, I believe her talents will be with her always, through heaven even, and no, if she likes to do it, and wants to, its not forcing too much.

  • you're right

  • cool <3

  • Cô rất tự hào về cháu! Chúc cháu mọi điều tốt lành!

  • my god O___O

  • Wow, just wow

She speaks Vietnamese very good in Mekong River Delta voice. :D

4:40 - 4:42: "Tại sao lại đặt tên con là Mít?" :">

    Ha ha so cute!!! :x

  • Tuy vậy, khi nói chuyện với người lớn bé nên dạ thưa, không nên trả lời trống không. :)

Nhưng dù sao ở độ tuổi này mà được như thế thì rất tuyệt rồi. ^^

  • -_- i reeeaaaalllllyyy need to study more vietnamese. I feel like a disgrace to my Culture. I'm Vietnamese and I couldnt read that but can understand Everything her and her dad is saying. Just cant read it....or write....blah....

  • @fairegirl22 Same!! It would take me a WHILE to read that page...I would have to sound out most of the words but I'd get through it XD Understanding and speaking is soo easy though :D

  • Dear Vo's parents,

You have a nice and smart girl !

    Congratulations !

Im an VNmese living and studying in Japan. Very pround of her !

Good Luck for her Future !

  • This was very nice to watch. So tallented. Many people wouldn't believe that a child can perform so much. She excells in many things. I was also self taught with no lessons on the keyboards and I also compose music. I am a believer as I was 2 1/2 when I began to play the piano and the accordion diatonic style. So Great job this little girl should go very far in her life.

    Ron your Canadian Fan! 10**********

  • Lol she speaks Vietnamese exactly like an "American" kid. I mean, thick accent. Its cute, tho. ^^ I can't expect more from a 8 year old. Many VNs kids can't even read as good as her, and they'r living in VN!!!

Keep it up girl. And keep up the joy. I love the way you laugh. You'r sure a cheerful bright kid. ^^

I'm proud to be a Vietnamese.

  • Thats great. She has a nice vietnamese name' mit". Good job ! Wen Vu.

  • genius!!! a brilliant girl! her parents is very lucky!! Her father is a Vietnamese huh?

  • Very nice Vietnamese!!! I speak Vietnamese too, but I don't think I'm as good as her!!!

  • Wendy u r awesome!! Best of LUCK in your bright future!! You've made all of us VN immigrants very proud!!

    love

  • @4evercoorslight

I agree with you....She is really amazing...she will bring such pride for our community in the future...Best of luck Wendy!!

  • That's really cute how she asks about her nick name "Mit" at 4:37.

  • how was she exposed to all those languages? That's what I'm trying to figure out. With all these polyglots - I'm trying to figure out how they were exposed to all those languages in such depth. Did they simply pick up a book ? Someone explain it. It seems this polyglot phenomen is dependent on being exposed to the languages.

  • oh my god! i wish i was that clever!

she is gonna have a bright future. good luck to her! :)

  • SHE must appear on MTV, not all that bunch of monkies we are used to see everyday.

11 languages + music composition! WOW

  • she never can be worried of fidning a job anywhere in the world;) i still angry on my mam she knew french and she didt teach me:( so now i know only 3 languages and feels not enought for 21 years old

  • shes kinda restless in teh beginning lol

    but wow amazing

  • I love her

  • does this mean her parents can speak those languages as well?! where does she learn them?

  • Aw. Her home name is Mít :D That's so adorable

  • what language she speaks at the beginning of the vid?

  • urdu

  • its hindi..

  • it's scary how AMAZINGLY talented and smart she is.

  • form 1:53 and so on she speaking vietnamies

  • Oh, and yes, I'd say she is defininlty an Indigo Child.

  • Before anyone becomes offended by TheDeathVoice's comment of Wendy being an Indigo child please realize it is no insult. Indigo children are children of exceptional abilities maybe even being psychic. Look up Indigo and Chrystal children.

  • video game music

  • shes an indigo child or not?

  • Haha I remember when I use to play around with a pink eraser and threw it around like that.. xD

  • wow shes so smart, its scary..

  • Incredible. I wish her the best (:

  • I want this music to be on my mp3 lol!

  • woa the music is so nice

  • The song is really great!!!

  • I speak 11 languages which includes a couple of dialects but this little child is simply amazing at 8. I took 50 years to learn the languages that I speak and except Japanese all are Indian languages.

But this child speaks all international languages. Hats off to her and her parents for bringing this child to world's notice.

    Hemant

  • She's amazing!

  • while she talks to us, shes just like a normal kid.

when she plays her piano, she becomes all quiet and adult like.

thats amazinggg. she is really gifted.

  • Tell me why I'm jealous of an 8 year old?!? XP

  • now she is 10.

  • i'm speak vietnameses, and her's is just like mine, southern accent, which is good. Her dad was talking to her about going to the store, and she wanted to buy cloths. And she was waving at the camera for her grandparents and viet kids in vietnam

  • that's so cute, her nickname is Mít hihi

  • I can't even play piano that well and I took it for 2 years damn lol.

  • Well see... I've been playing for 9 years and it took me about 5 of them to get this good. Then again, I'd have to see the music to see how difficult this is. :)

  • god dam she knows more vietnamese than i do and im vietnamese too dam

  • How, in 8 years did she have time to learn 11 languages? Yeesh!

  • woa, this girl's so talented,Idont know much about other languages beside Vietnamese&English but she got Vietnamese southern voice,so great!!! even for a NATIVE VIETNAMESE KID AT THAT AGE

@to her parents:you both awesome, just remember let her grow up naturally, respect her interest even music and always remind her that she's VIETNAMESE

  • the government must not get their hands on her. she will be tainted and everything will be ruined. she is by far the most amazing kid ive seen on youtube so far. she needs to hone her skills lol. shes great :)

  • AMAZING!!!

  • OMG!!! J'm shoking! super

  • Oh man if iam her dad i give her anything u want in the world man,,,she gonna something big in the future,, god dammit iam so jealous of her talent hehe

  • 6:31-6:38 is my favorite part...Sounds Spanishy! :-)))

  • Ba cua be Wendy Vo,

Anh that la may man, troi da ban tang anh mot than dong. Chuc anh luon may man, doi dao suc khoe de huong dan be Wendy Vo di dung con duong troi da sap dat cho em. Mong em se lon len lam nhieu dieu tot cho xa hoi.

  • Her cantonese is even better than mine, I should be a shame.

  • Don't say that, it will just be bringing yourself down on hwo you are. Just practice your cantonese like my father does. And no you are not a shame at all.

  • her Piano is great!

  • Oh shes sooooo cute!!! She speaks with a country Vietnamese accent. My father is from Saigon and my mom is from a city near Ha Tien. He corrects me very often because I have the same accent as my mother but he never corrects my mother because hes too afraid.

And the part where her father asks what she wanted to eat, she said she wanted to go shopping lol. Its amazing how her talent is being nurtured at an early age.

  • I guess this would be more impressive if any of the languages sounded different to me lol which they don't. Good job though, one language is enough for me lol. Very excellent job on your compositions!

  • Extraordinary child. Don't EVER let her near a psychiatrist: she'll be diagnosed "hyperactive" put on drugs and ruined...

  • This is one of the best and most correct responses I have read on any You Tube comment. It has so much truth to it; it makes me sad. Thanks for reminding all what idiots seem to be shaping our society.

  • @hrprada probably not. If you know anything about psychiatry she's not hyperactive. just very bright. Hyperactive kids can't function/concentrate properly. She clearly can.

  • Lại một thần đồng Việt nam nữa, bé Wendy Vo Vĩnh Long-Việt Nam. Người Việt nam tự hào về bé

  • This. Is so. Awesome! :o I tell ya, ppl tell me I'm good at speaking and learning many different languages, (I speak english, swedish, french, finish, and a little japanese.) But this is just... Sugoi! I LOVED it when she spoke japanese! She's way better than me! :D

  • c'est belle cette chanson

  • She's so smart! I'm jealous XD

I'm currently studying Spanish and it's soooo difficult. Later on, I want to learn Japanese though.

  • awsome, I hope my kids will be good like this girl. If my kids bble to speak 5 languages good and can play some music instrument are good enough for me. Doesn't need to speak 11 :j

  • I'm so moved when hearing she speaking vietnamese quite fluently, as fluently as a child of the same age living in Vietnam. I feel so proud of her!

  • watching this makes me feel like shit and a complete loser

  • amazing! she reminds me of how i played the piano when i was little (i too started at a very early age) and its almost exactly the same. i'd play a 3 note arpeggio with my left hand which is usually the tonic+3rd+5th of the chord or some variation, and my right hand would do some melody. My fingers were everywhere and when I saw her playing it just brought back the memories :) she'll get much better and have a good feel for music. I wish her all the best!

  • Don't steal other people's glory.

  • I'm Vietnamese too and i think she so amazing . Like the way she speaks Vietnamses like WOW !!!...

  • yeah not THAT fluent, but she's really good. The way she speaks is natural!!! SHe's amazing, and chubby and cute.

  • omg...pedo! -_-'

  • dude in this video shes speaking in Hindi

  • she is speaking hindi and vietnamese in this video.. read the descriptioon.. and im viet, i can understand wut she says

  • hey bitch at least she is better than u.

  • DUDE she's like 5 years old. Really, I think of all the youtubers that she is 10X smarter than everyone. At least she is trying and she attempts to get off of HER ass instead of watching youtube and critisizing everyone all day. :D thanks for your time. DIS.

  • this was like a year ago!!

  • You are so right. I need to get off Youtube at one point, it's so hard to even think about it tho !

  • She is soo adorable

  • Asian Pride!:)

  • Totally.

    [:

  • yea boi!!! lolz

  • my sister looks like her and same age but shes dumb.. plus she is viet

  • lolz

  • wtf!

  • her hindi is gd too

  • i can play piano but not as good as her, i want to learn how to play violin too!!!

  • I'm also vietnamese and i can speak cantonese, but i am also chinese.. it's awesome that an asian is a prodigy!

  • Dude.. asian prodigies are all over the place.

  • omg i understand her viet lol

  • You talk sense. I only hope Barrister is your surname and not your career and something that you are wearing as a badge, or your integrity on this matter is shot to bits.

  • wow! Một bé rất là dễ thương và thông minh nữa! Hi vọng bé sẽ sớm được về quê thăm ông bà nội ngoại và chơi với các bé ở Việt Nam nữa nha!

  • Hello, I'm also Vietnamese and I'm really proud to know that there is such a prodigy in the world, esp a Vietnamese!! =))

  • nakakainis!!! ang galing!!! waaaaaaaah

  • she's a smart ass but i'm still jealous

  • wow!! amazing!! what was the title to that?

  • YOU SHOULD LEARN HER TO PLAY ON A GRAND PIANO! She shoudn't play an electic one...!

  • @Appassionata90 not every family on this world can handle a grand piano. There are many way to learn music in cheaper way than just using the piano. Virtual instruments, electric keyboard and MIDI controller; they are 10 time cheaper and more effective than a grand piano that same price as a car.

  • shes going to work for the government!

  • wow i feel so jealous fo her and guilty at the same time. i've learn piano for almost ten years and can compose no songs....

  • What did her mother eat when she was prego with her? Take folic acid before and during pregnancy?

  • omg

  • that ridiculous, i can understand arabic n hindi, and she speaks both of them really well! its shocking, and from her accents for the others, i can tell they are good as well. I mean do you guys understand how great this is? she speaks language from different linguistic groups... arabic, hindi, russian, chinese, english ... are tooo different from each other in too many ways... and shes got all of these and other related languages like french, spanish which still is incredible!

  • I'm amazed that she can read so many languages... She's just wonderful!!!!

  • Her Vietnamese excellent!!! From her responses, you can tell she's a little smart-ass, too. :D

  • Gioi qua, con gai a. Co da xem ca 5 phan video ve tai ngoai ngu va am nhac cua con. Chuc con khoe va som duoc ve Vietnam tham ong ba!

  • as soon as she begins to play the child dissapears and amazingly this little lady comes to life. You can tell this is what she was born to do..look how comfortable she is when she is playing! awesome :)

  • Troi oi good god she is so good inn vietnamese lol thats cool my boss told my about her but I was like hell no and now I believe him damn I wish my kids was like her ;] haaah she so cute ..she say she wants some new clothes and some dessert ....

  • Dude, I do understand your enthusiasm, but saying you wished your kids were like her is wrong! Your kids are who they are and that makes them unique. And don't think it's easy to raise a child like this one. It's difficult for them to make friends, it's difficult to find a proper school for them (most likely they'll out-smart their teachers). It's actually pretty difficult. So love your kids for what they are and don't wish they were someone else.

  • I am even more amazed at her musical talent

  • She is so cute and amazing...so proud when she speaks VNese fluently!!!

  • Omg... She is just a kid dude. What the fuk wrong with you?? Saying people ugly and shiet. If you got nothing better to do then go and fuk yourself.

    sighs...

  • let's see this asshole above u compose music and speak 11 languages hhahaha

  • very cute little girl, her Dad gave her a nick name "Mit" (jackfruit) in vietnamese it means Fatty lolz. i love this girl.

  • that song was cute this girl is friggen unbelieveable.. but i feel bad for her as well cause when i was like 8 i spent my time.. well doing kiddy things which she might miss out on from all the playing piano and learning languages she does so much

  • poor girl probably doesn't have many friends because of her parents pushing and pushing her to become better

  • The music is so beautiful. She is really a great talent. I wish I could have that piece of music that she is playing in this video clip.

  • she is AMAZING!

  • my favorite part is when people critisize her: " she stumbled reading Russian!"

Let's hope she can put her talent to great use..what a genius!

  • While I'm not totally convinced with the languages, her music skills are amazing! A true musical prodigy.

  • wendy.. i sorrie to bother but.. could you give me the notes/sheets to the songs/peice you just played?? i love your pieces!!

  • omg

  • her brain is extremely strange!!! Omg I want it!
