Yeah the dips you didn't go down all the way. It was more like top of the dip extension which is still impressive with 100 pounds but it's like doing jump squats. If you use 400 lbs for jump squats it's not as impressive as doing a 400 lb full squat.
On pulldown? Not quite twice your weight, but probably 1 and a half or one and 3/4 for reps in general to have the kind of pulling strength in the limbs you'll need. It's very hard on the joints and tendons - I'm always afraid of pulling something when I try it.

Hey just saw your link from the ESB thread. Like dtt2222 said about your fully extended start - that's great. And by the way, how much did that dumbbell weigh? I can imagine it's quite tough to keep control of. Have you ever used a strap? They help tons.
I just checked out your web page, but couldn't find any way to respond. I'd like to respond to a few of your interesting thoughts...How can you be contacted?
You've almost got them! The fact you can start from a fully extended position is excellent. Some claiming to do one arm pullups can't start from the very bottom. It looks like your weak area is at the top. With some concentrated practice at the top, you should be able to fill in the entire range. In the middle of the range you're very powerful. These one arm pulls may not be perfect yet, but still very impressive! I bet you're a killer at armwrestling for your weight! Good stuff! Keep posting!

Okay just read, about 100 to 120. That's pretty damn good for your size my friend. What do you weigh? 125-130?
