@Max1351o Actually Santeria and Vaudou are witchcraft mixed with Catholicism. I believe that you have some soul searching to do. However in Christianity all sins are forgiven when asked. If you start to practice witchcraft and change your mind and ask for forgiveness it will be given. If a child abusing priest or a serial killer is forgiven then you have nothing to worry about.
There is no right or wrong way to practice magick. Magick is all about using energy to manifest what you want. Anyway or anything that helps you to manifest that energy is right. Now if you are asking an Ethical question then yes there is right and wrong! :)
On the subject of Balance. This video was about the important basics. The big pitcure not Details. Yes some spells and rituals require more of one element etc. That is not was what I ment about balance. When I speak of Balance I am speaking of a persons state of mind, state of emotion, state of life. I will gladly go into the details in another Video
That is the wonderful thing about Paganism is you are entitled to your opinion. If having balance in your life does not work, then by all means do what works for you. However from my experiance that if you are not coming from a balanced place (mentally, emtionally)then the magick will definetely suffer.
My personal opinion - you don't have to have balance in all things. Everything is not balanced. I think that is a misconception in the metaphysics. Great video. I agree with most of what you said, and like you said, we all take a different approach to witchcraft.
I love the bit about self honesty. Most people don't know how difficult that alone can be. It's good that you put it out there.
I too try to find an equilibrium between the positive and negative. It seems to be the path that makes the most sense, at least to me.
