@redneckdale88 buck shot is not for deer, buck shot is a shotgun shell with little lead balls in it. generally used for small game, like ducks,squirrel,rabbit. slugs are one giant peace of lead. hes using slugs, slugs are the only thing to use for deer shotgun season.

First of all killing does the opposite of "reduction" by next season the deer is plentyful again just in time for deer killing season and to supply enough deer for 'hunting' purpose.

Look how many wildlife killers you have in Maryland.



100,000 firearms hunters, 38,000 muzzleloader hunters, and 53,000 bowhunters hunted deer. So by fall they need enough deer to make these scums happy thus DVA's are the highest from Oct-Dec which is 'hunting'season.

I heard they killed (bowkillers) over 100,000 deer this year for recreational purpose. Every year I hear the same excuses of "overpoulation" and deer vehicle accident but the reason is because DNR is providing the deer for hunters each year. Without the deer how would they make the blood money for trophy killers?
