Bird Nest in my Dryer Hose Vent

I let the first batch fledge, then I pulled the hoses and replaced them with aluminum ones and put "bird proof" vents on the exterior of the house. They have little plastic cages over the flaps that prevent birds from entering, but insects & stuff can still easily get in.

You should have removed those birds. They just bring vermin -- and then you have a BIGGER problem!
