American WWII weapons are the most beautiful weapons ever made, with M1 Garand on top! What a joy would it be to own such a rifle and fire from it.

@WepaRStrasni I have a "Service Grade" M1 Garand and a Bolt Action M1903 Springfield (mfg by Remington, dated June-1942).

The Garand truely is an awesome machine... It seems as if you can just point it in the general direction of your target and hit it ... No wonder we were victorious! As General Patton said, "The M1 Rifle is the greatest battle implement ever devised."

@WepaRStrasni I beg to differ, the Ppsh-41 is far better than any American WWII gun made, same with the

MP-40. The Germans produced far superior Infantry Weapons and Armoured Vehicles. The only difference was that, their were far more Shermans in World War II then Kraut Tiger Tanks.

I would say that you cannot put PPSh 41 in a same basket as Garand, they are far too different.

And I don't believe it introduced any revolutionary features, as Garand did.

I think that this song is very fitting to the theme of the show "Band of Brothers" and further more I honor and respect the sacrifice these men (as well as all soldiers of all wars) laid down at the alter of freedom. In the case of World War 2, it was something that simply "had to be done". and I thank every man that answered the call
