How magical this all was: Jimmy Durante & Jimmie Rodgers! To be able to tune into talent like this - wow - was my childhood blessed! There was an ease, an innocence & joy to all of this that has gone from American life. It is wonderful to revisit this special brief era that gave us heart & hope before all the killings & beatings & bloodshed transformed the magic into the tragic. God bless you, Jimmie. You sang for all of us - and still do.

I remember Jimmie Rodgers like I rember Little Richard or Pat Boone. Jimmy Durante with Jimmie on the video & the first time I've seen them together like this is on Youtube, thx4 postin'. I had a few favs by Jimmie when I was a teenager like Secretly. As an adult I don't tune Jimmie in much as there is so much more to R&R than Bimbombay, I have to make way for Eminem, Lady Ga Ga, Nsync & The Backstreet Boys so I limited myself to my real favorites from over the yrs. OK!
