  • The Watchmen was a defining moment in the history of Western Civilization!

  • @comicman34 green lantern sucked

  • Two best super hero movies:

The incredibles - it questioned the morality of super hero superiority.

Watchmen - it introduced heroes with distinct flaws.

  • @comicman34 green lantern are you kidding me?

  • I hate you spammers :)

  • the first song is '''pruit igoe & prophecies''

the second one is ''take a bow'' with the artist muse

  • @tuonelashao get a life, you adbot

  • @genericshade Fuck off, this is a movie, not a series.

  • whats the name ofthis song?!!!?!

  • @Inesanchondo massive attack, search

  • song?

  • is Zack Snyder wearing a star wars shirt? :>

  • Alguien sabe el titulo de la cancion del minuto 0:00 hasta el minuto 0:24??? esa cancion es la misma k la de este video

    youtube.com/watch?v=K5hEdXPDvFc&feature=feedf

  • songs called " take a bow" - muse

  • Really great movie bought it just yesterday I take my hat off to Zack Snyder couldn't get a more faithfull adaptation ok certain things could maybe be improved but a great movie none the less in my opinion

  • Muse - Take A Bow

  • need help. What is the second song?

  • @CoasterBeach The ending actually isn't that different. If you can't get your hands on the novel I would HIGHLY suggest watching the motion comic, which I'm sure you can find online. Its pretty much the same thing and is incredible.

  • what's the name of the song right in the beginning???

It's neither muse nor Massive attack

  • stop with the godamn spam!

  • What's the background song at 2:00 called??

  • Gorgeous, lush, romantic, mysterious, painful, daunting, creative - these are the words that come to mind. This was the most compelling I've ever seen him, and you could tell he had learned his magic well, as his hands moved with fluid precision. Come and see it at kookíca, really magic movie.

  • Big blue dick

  • The movie was great, but you'll never know how extraordinary the novel is until you read it.

  • I still think this is still the best movie ever made, and I have seen some great films this past decade. I will see it again on kookíca.

  • A lot of ppl said"boring" or "it took too long to get into it." Those are the people who, i'm sorry, can't appreciate a good movie, one that doesn't rely on entirely action to grab attention. I assure everyone every minute of this movie was essential for the storyline to flow, and it was never boring. And the ending was a complete twist, how many times have you bad guys in movies say "Kill millions to save billions"? This is like the only movie that let the bad guys actually do it.

  • @AJVersatility19

    " I triggered it 35 minutes ago. "

That is the line that gave the full twist :)

  • @ivancorea Not only that, everyone expressed their views at the end, Manhattan agreed with Ozymandias that it would save the world, and Rorschach basically says not only is it wrong to kill those millions, lying to the humans in order to unite them will just backfire in the long run, humans are humans and will find another reason to fight each other, so those killed will be in vain. And when he gave Doc the ultimatum of killing him or he'll tell the truth was just perfect for his character.

  • @ivancorea To me, the most essential part to good movie, is character development. If i watch a movie, and i remember all the characters, it was a great movie. Like The Dark Knight, everyone from Batman to Joker to Harvey Dent to Gordon to Alfred and Lucius Fox etc. had a big role and weren't just there to fill the cast. You remember each of them for what they stood for. Watchmen achieved that with Rorschach, The Comedian, Ozy and everyone else. Also Inception achieved the same.

  • Not bad guy who made "300," not bad.

  • i see this movie grabbing a lot of attention... im going to see it tonight on kòòkica i know i will. I say it attracts the people ages 16+ who obviously like it. The adults on the other hand might not be too interested.

  • Rorschach's Journal, November 22nd, 2010. Comment adverts getting smarter. Simple "5 stars, watch online here" tactic evolved into reusing and embellishing common opinions with only name of site rather than full address. Trying to seem more human, relate-able, but only sounding more like machines.

  • i thought the cast was amazing and the effects completely germaine to the movie, but i sort of feel like it was almost *too* easy to follow. i'd be totally willing to see it again on kòòkica just to see if there was something i missed, thematically speaking, and whether the end is what i think it is, or not.

  • Undoutable to oscar film festival...it's one of amazing film which you can see at kòòkica... A movie that actually makes you think! This will become a cult movie in a few years. Five stars definitely.

  • This was like the best movie i have ever seen in my entire life. actually. sure its complex, but if you get it, its a pretty good plot too. You can find it on kookíca if you want full version.

  • Predictable movie... However I loved it! Great job for everyone who were working on making this movie..I found this film yesterday on kookíca...I recommend for anyone who enjoys a good chick-flick. must see movie..

  • This trailer should have shown in theaters. Then more people would have gone to see it -- it explains a lot of questions. Both "theatrical" trailers were all teaser, hardly any dialogue for benefit of non-Watchmen fans.

  • @ijwi

i actually saw the trailer for watchmen when i went to see the dark knight, thats the first time i had ever heard about this, i saw the trailer (and it was in imax) and i was pretty amazed. so i made sure i got to see this movie, and then i read the graphic novel, its amazing :p

  • I consider this movie has to be the better film of the two earlier parts so far. I liked the main acter especially....his crackpot humour, his weird funny running strides and his obvious good looks make this movie so great. Finish it free of charge on kookicá.

  • when i first heard of watchmen i thought it was just another childish superhero movie. but when i watched it i was like WTF!

  • When that city was flipping over my eyes were hurting, it's one of those things you have to watch on the kookíca.

  • This movie made me feel so real, like I never felt before!! It left strong reaction on me, the positiv one of course, but it is totaly inspiring and.. Not something typical, not at the moment. See it. It is on k o o k i c a!

  • If you havent read the book then this trailer gives away so much! I also kinda hate whos playing laurie and Jon

  • Smiley at 1:25

  • @seabluex MUE "take a bow"

  • book was better.

  • I Love Watchmen, We Love MUSEMUSEMUSEMUSEMUSE

  • what is the song at 3:40??

  • Do you like the Watchmen? I think it could be the greatest graphic novel EVER made. I love the montage in the first 5 minutes of the movie that has Dylan's "The Times They Are a Changin' ". I assume you recognized the visual of Sally's retirment as a reproduction of the Last Supper?

  • masterpiece

  • Exceptional movie, flawless graphic novel

  • this movie was truly amazing i enjoyed every minute of it. shit i wish it was longer lol its alredy almost 3 hours :p not enough!

  • what is teh song in this trailer, anyone?

  • I have watched loads of video's of watchman here on YouTube and I still can't work out what it's actually about, it's all rather odd...

  • watchmen was way ahead of its time....

  • Why Watchmen is under Rated: R?

  • Sex rape Violance and a really dark tone

  • @Zabir995 cussing, nudity, sex, graphic violence, and extreme awesomeness

  • What is the piano music in the beggining called?

  • @robinsgirlwonder that's not piano. that's an electro organ.

  • pruit igoe & prophecies

  • My favorite movie of the decade.

Just a question: what exactly is the thing that Manhattan builds on Mars?

  • I'd love to know that and also what Vorcheck (that how you spell it) mask is.

  • @f2mdesigns You mean Rorschach? His mask has changing inkblot patterns that are used in Rorschach tests. (he's named after the test)

  • Thank you sir (He's my fave character) but ya what's that thing Manhatten built?

  • i dont know thats exactly what i was wondering

  • Manhattan used to be a watchmaker, so what he makes is the inner workings of a watch.

  • A clock. Just like his dad used to build.

  • Its a giant Cogwheel spinning in on itself. Before he became all blue and "Manhattan-y" He was a a scientist, and he became a scientist because of his father, who was a Watchmaker. Manhattan was working on a watch when his dad walked in n said that they deceloped the atmic bomb, picked up the watch and threw it out the window, and that made Manhattan become a scientist.

  • @XM8rifle its just to symbolise what he is i guess. read the book, he kinda sums up what he is all about, or have you read it? i dunno ;D. the book and film are wonderful works of art!

  • @XM8rifle its a watch

  • @XM8rifle

It's just a "shape" that he likes... No particularly deep sense.

  • @XM8rifle You remember his father wanted him to fix clocks when he was younger. You notice the whole structure looks very alike watches cogs? I think it's probable the last vestige of humanity inside Dr. Manhattan.

  • @ivancorea True. Good point.

  • @XM8rifle

Read the book, he wanted to create something.

It's obviously just a lot of gyro's and gears from a watch, in an intricately beautiful arrangement.

  • @XM8rifle It's a glass palace raised from the sand. It flashes back to his dad teaching him how to fix a watch, hence the big, fuck-off glass gears spinning around it.

  • @XM8rifle A clock without a craftsman.

  • @XM8rifle

the clock that describes him the best

he felt comfortable in it i guess

  • @XM8rifle People have probably answered this already but it's basically a castle and I'm guessing it's based off of a...well, watch. Since Manhattan was going to become a watchmaker I think that's why it has all of the cogs and gears and rotates like that. Just a guess.

  • I saw the movie before I read the graphic novel and I loved it. I bought the graphic novel and I loved it too.

So why are people saying you can't appreciate the movie without reading the book first? They are both great in their own way.

Yeeesh. Some people need to get a life.

  • Hey there. Just glad I'm not the only one who did the same. While the comic is just undeniable the real deal and far better, I just couldn't stop to love the movie as much as I did the first time, even after reading the great comic.

  • @elmerOzo it was good adaptation

  • same i watched this first then hooked

  • @TomatoeAssassin yeah i saw the movie before the comic too and the both looks fantastic but i preffer the movie cause is so exiting the special effects

    sorry my grahmmar

  • this isnt a trailer

  • You all may "thumbs down" xmat, but what he says is true if you know what a good movie is. I agree with him according to what he said.

  • What is the song that starts at 1:27? It's not "Take a Bow" by Muse, it's something completely different.

  • No that is Angle from Massive Attack, album Mezzanine.... I recon

  • @livedelux

It's not called ANGLE... it's called Angel. Please don't confuse anyone! Massive Attack indeed.

  • Comment removed

  • @dsavix4 yes it is

  • whats the name of the song

  • "Take A Bow" - Muse

  • its not what anyone who hadn't read the book expected it to be and thus fewer people liked it because it was much more about story and characters than action

  • too much sex

  • agreed. after they save a burning building what do they do. SEX. before they saved the building what did they do. SEX.

  • wurd after the nice action ya make luv like wtf who does that and dr.manhattan is always naked which creeps me out and too much nudity in the movie

  • i could never really see dr manhattens penis too clearly because pf all that glow so it didnt really botther me.

  • It rocks, I can't agree with you. spiderman is teh shits :S Dark Knight is better than Watchmen but it's another category.

  • This movie is one of the best movies about superheroes in last 20 years, go watch Pokemon or whatever ;D

  • One of the WORST. the movie sucked total ass. If you want to watch a real superhero movie, go watch the Dark Knight, Batman Begins, or Spider man. This movie doesn't deserve to bear the Superhero genre.

  • lol @ Superman.

  • You dumb ass the movie doesnt reflect the book.

The movie is based on the idea of chnaging the basis of superheroes. What they did was completely re do what people percieved superheroes to be. You people are just to narrow minded to allow anything else thats somewhat different to be good.

  • whats the name of the music

  • i loved this movie it was awsome

  • Ha-ha. Zack Snyder got the symbol of the Star Wars' Galactic Empire. Ain't that something?

  • i love this movie. its soo good

  • Great movie... I saw a lot of symbolism and subliminals.... great job.. It really expanded your horizons.. the first half hour of the movie was things that took place I esp. like the JFK part where they show him get shot from the front on the grassy knoll and at KENT state in Ohio where the Hippie put the Flower into the gun and you see the soldier just blast all the petals in the air. 6 students were murdered for protesting the war peacefully. It really makes you think

  • whats the name of the song??

  • if its the song after the intro song its called "Take a bow" by Muse i love this song

  • the first part is phillip glass prophesies

  • The movie seems SO much like the graphic novel. It only just adds to my anticipation for it :)

  • This is ghey.. if you've seen the other trailers you'll know that the smileyface guy gets killed in his apartment by someone in a purple suit.. then in this trailer they show a flash of Adrian wearing purple and standing in the same apartment...

  • does it really matter? everyone already knows comedian gets killed by ozy because he knows about the plan to destroy manhatten to unite the world and that rorschach gets killed by doctor manhatten because he threatens to destroy this "perfect" world hes created

  • yah I know already.. but way to spoil a movie in its own trailer : x

  • not everybody is as alert or as observational as you so most people still wont know, plus the death scene is pretty dark so not everyone will have noticed the purple

  • The song is Angle by Massive Attack

  • Don't spose anyone knows the name of the song that kicks in at 1:27?

  • Nevermind, it's Angel by Massive Attack.

  • what is the name of the Muse song at the end of the vid?

  • That would be "Take a Bow"!
