I am addicted to watching knitting podcasts but there are thousands of video podcasts and audio podcasts about everything, not just knitting. lol Check out iPad today podcast from Twit. They tell you about lots of cool apps.

Don't leave your Bluetooth or wifi on a lot it will drain the battery. I learned that trick pretty quickly. Also buy you a Moshi I visor. They sell them on amazon. It's the best protector for the screen. About 20 bucks but worth it. Much better than the ones that get bubbles under them or the one the stores sell. You will love the IPhone. I'm addicted. Hugs.

Fun and aggravating, that describes the iphone to a "T" lol.

You go crazy downloading apps and then end up deleting most of them because you won't use them. The iphone manual is online if you need it.

I love my iphone! Congrats ;). My favorite apps are words with friends, hanging with friends, family feud (free version), angry birds, temple run, instagram, youtube, facebook, etc... The biggest tip I have for use is if an app isn't running well, double tap on the home button and it will bring up your recently used apps. Press and hold on the app thats glitching until you see a red x. Tap on the red ex, this closes the app completely and when you restart it the glitch will be gone.

i hate smart phones, I got one on my contract, I used it for a week and then went back to my old phone. they easy to use, but to me its a phone not a laptop lol. battery life is shocking too. I old school I suppose.

Go to itunes and type in free apps in the search bar. One thing I keep hearing people raving over is iMessage its a free texting app. Also if you get itunes on your computer you can transfer your apps to your device ie iphone : ) Hope this helps ya out : ) I have been researching stuff before I get my ipad lol. Which will be soon so I am "trying" to be prepared but I think with most tech stuff you have to just fiddle with it till you know what your doing lol.

Congrats on getting the iPhone - I hope you enjoy it. My daughter has one and loves it. I have a Droid and love it too. One app I quite is for scanning business cards and sorting them. Very handy. Another nice on is called Gas Buddy - helps you locate the best prices on gas based on where you are. Enjoy!

Let's see....favorite apps around here: Drop 7, Words with Friends, Scramble with Friends, Pandora, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Heytell, Family Feud, Hulu+, Redbox....I could go on and on... Do you have the same phone #? Let's see...my favorite tip that I got early on was that if you press the button twice, it pulls up a bar at the bottom with your recently used apps. And...if you're on FB or in email and double tap the top bar, it brings you back to the top of the page.

Congrats on your new Iphone! I know you will love it. I don't have one but have recently upgraded to an Android phone... LG Optimus Q by Straight Talk. I'm quite pleased so far. Who knows... maybe one day if I ever decide I want to committ... I might try an Iphone. I do love my Ipod touch. Lol

You can find some really great/inexpensive iPhone cases on eBay, Stacey. When I had my iPhone I always bought them from there.. they have a lot for only $0.99 shipped each. I miss having my iPhone.. I sold it and bought an iPod touch and I don't like it as much :P.

You'll love the iPhone! A few apps/games I use are kindle, yelp, words with friends, angry birds, pandora, cut the rope. They pretty much have an app for everything including cribbage :) the nice thing about it is there are a ton of free games and apps to chose from.
