A few years ago I was a victim of cyber bullying. I got threaten emails, text messages, phone calls, and IMs. The bully targeted the wrong person. I don’t tolerate bullying of any kind to anyone at anytime let alone myself. I just printed the IMs and saved the texts, told my parents and we went to the police. I told anyone who would listen what was happening to me. I gathered a great support system of close family and friends. It stopped, but we never found out who was behind the bullying.

In my opinion, not sure how valid that is I suppose, people should consult someone as soon as possible, or man up to the confrontation themselves. Trust me, if you stop satisfying the bullies, they won't continue with what they were doing. If you do not return what they are sending (not saying that you should start fights) and become a nuissance to them, they will pick on somebody else and not you. Bullies will constantly have someone to target, make sure it isnt you.

I'm glad that these celebrities have given their time to record these video messages, however, I have my doubts as to whether this will work or not. It's just a video of people giving their opinions. The only thing that can stop bullying, is to — stop it, by some means. Bullies need to feel a big sense of intimidation in order to know how their victims feel. I personally think this video's useless, but I hope any bullies watching it will realise that they're just cowards.

in my experience bullying is a product of bad parenting, the kids that bully are being bullied at home by their parents either psychologically or physically and they mirror it back to the kids at school

Stopping bullying is worthy but I always think the authorities look at it wrong as they have power and are forms of bullies themselves. How many of those celebs are now or have even been bullys ? Arsen Wenger adressing his players at half time and verbally attacking refs linesmen and other manager...like football managers do - is that bullying or is it something else?
When you get paid for it they call it government.

To all of you who are being bullyed please tell someone a teacher or parent/gaurdian or it will never stop, buut if you tell and it still hasn't stopped keep telling untill your school's head teacher does something like call in the bullies parents. Don't let the bullies win by staying quiet SPEAK OUT AND SPEAK UP

I've been victim to some serious bullying before. Over time, I learned that the best way to deal with bullies is to defeat their jabs with intelligence & logic. For example, when I've been called a "chink" before, I say, "I'm Korean, so I can't be a 'chink.' You're ignorant to call me so."
Most people who bully do so because they find it easier to lash out when they're being ignorant, rather than be smart & let it all go.
Don't let the bullies see they're getting to you! Be smart instead!

Well, They probably just used these celebrities to get a lot of views.
I doubt that they can actually stop it. but i think the point of this video is to let everyone know how serious it would be to bully someone online.
I never knew that someone actually committed suicide by getting bullied online. ALSO, I wouldn't have clicked on this video if it weren't for the celebrities.

in my experience bullying is a product of bad parenting, the kids that bully are being bullied at home by their parents either psychologically or physically and they mirror it back to the kids at school

why report it to the police ? i tried that and the police told me ignore them thier idiots. since then its got worse, they've started videoing me, trying to beat me up, stealing my stuff, following me home, ganging up on me, making comments at me because of how i dress.

your case seems pretty serious. have you reported it to teachers or parents. if you have what about giving childline a call. they'l give you some advice on how to resolve your issues

Group bully's are the biggest losers! I know some and they would never admit they are weak but they are NEVER able to stand on their own merit and need their "friends" to back their sh*t talking. They hate me because i refuse to buy into their de individuation BS. Too bad they are most likely sad people that have little going for them ion real life! I moved class almost a year ago, because my old class was really bad.. I wasn't really bullied, but some of the people there made me feel crap, and I must admit I've never been that sad!
there was a girl (and she's still in that class) she was bullied really bad, and once because of her religion..

My 15 yrs old bro is going thru the same thing. I never knew it till I saw him crying & he refused to go back to skool. A few days ago, he got bullied again by his skool mate & even pushed him so hard but this time my bro fought him back. Then the vice-principal said it was my bro's fault. However, my family & I stand up for my bro & also for all young children like him. We're here to beat bullying. Just remember, in life, there are always ppl who would kill to see us fall.
