Halo 4 will take place on the rebuilding of Reach, watch the Halo Reach teaser trailer and you can see a light blue outline around the planet. In the end of this, there is also a light blue rim. At the end of Halo Reach when you're helmet is on the ground you can see a crashed ship. That is MC's ship. Thumbs up so EVERYONE can see this. The trilogy is still alive, just like Reach.

I DO own a 360, which i bought myself. Then i received a PS3 as a somewhat unwanted gift, but now that i have it, my 360 just sits gathering dust. Have you played MGS4? One of the best games ever created IMO. The ship is named Forward Unto Dawn, the planet is most likely a fail-safe location for portal failure which means the planet is probably a forerunner colony or something of the likes. Marathon takes place before Halo and in another universe so master chief is probably not the Marathon main character, another note Marathon was a ship not a planet. Also Marathon was made into a retail game...3 infact...Marathon, Marathon 2: Durandal, and Marathon: Infinity.
