This trailer is from a very early development version of SH2010 and depicts a good deal of what Bottle Rocket was doing with the game before Namco pulled the project from them. Judging by this trailer and what I've read about the earlier stages of the game, Namco made a good decision. Much of what BR was doing simply did not fit with the overall Splatterhouse theme. That's probably why Namco pulled the project from BR and handed it over to Dan Tovar's team.

the only thing i dont like with the trailer is that it shows quicktime events during a battle....... i just dont like that, i mean i wana watch the fucking blood fly but i cant enjoy it with all the fucking button mashing that has to be done :P

I actually with you man, my 360 is just a POS, it can't read hardly any of my games, and no I didn't move the 360 while the games were in it, I really haven't moved my 360 since I bought it and took it out of my box. Modern Warfare doesn't work in my 360 and the only truely awesome games I could find were Dead Rising, Genesis Collection, Lost Planet, Assassins Creed, and Batman. I might as well save up for a PS3... at least my Wii still works.

Wow the new Splatterhouse game looks pretty cool to be honest, I can hope there are unlockables that give a nod to the other games in the series, such as Rick's costume from the first one.

As far as I know, this is not exactly a remake, as it seems that it'll end up making a completely different storyline from the original trilogy (which were great games IMHO).

rental. remakes can be iffy.
plus those little monsters in the game look just like wretches from gears.
graphics arent too great. i just hope it has a good story to play through instead of just blood and guts. though that alone would probably satisfy the A.D.D kids that play these days >.>

Wow the new Splatterhouse game looks pretty cool to be honest, I can hope there are unlockables that give a nod to the other games in the series, such as Rick's costume from the first one.

mhh...it really doesnt have the evil vibe from the first 2.3 was okay but...not as dark.

I'm glad they're giving this a reboot. However, all of the previous SplatterHouse games were, like, the greatest games ever. lol. I own 2+3 for the Genesis and once I get a next gen console, this is the first on my list!
... I still need a fucking Terror Mask though.

I am so sick of everyone comparing EVERY new game to G.o.W. No this doesn't look like it at all...Yeah it has gore but that's about where it stops. That's so freaking annoying. This game looks great and having played the first Splatterhouse, this looks like a really fun ride. Thanks :D!

Everyone who is talking shit about this game have obviously NOT played the original Splatterhouse saga from SEGA Saturn...
This game bringed me back lots of memories (and scary/creepy moments) I have since I played the first Splatterhouse games... my God, this game is so special. Don't start annoying if you haven't even played one of the games, or at least until you've played this release. :)

its worse then that and not anymore fun.
they are simply jumping the 3rd person action game genre band wagon which is already over saturated and filled with much better games that have been out for years, getting by with blood and simple gore for the kitties that dont know any better...
but the gameplay ends up not being as deep and being just as predictable as anything else you have already played.
it will sell a few copies, but not because its a good game.

Ditch this bullshit until they come up with a more genuine action game.....
At best this will probably get a 7/10 average......mark my words when its finally out and totally is uninspired.
They shouldnt call games HORROR unless they are actually scary, which this is not.
