TO JeffreyJamesLippold...... A Soft styles like jujitsu?? haha lets see how soft style it is when your having your shoulder popped out by an omoplatta. dick
better drill: side control (kesa gatame/head and shoulder) to knee-on-belly. Then from knee on belly, you can rotate to north/south position, pass to mount, or spin over to side control over on the opposite side.
well ... most of the guys in the ufc are just naturally born to fight to a certain point so i'd imagine they'd do pretty bad even if they were trained for it.
they have before..steve jennum was a police officer and he won a early ufc event and sean gannon who fought kimbo was a police officer and fought in ufc 55 against brandon lee hinkle and was bloodied and in the hospital for a few days after the beating he took
@mrfrosty8172 Not just martial arts but good health & conditioning altogether. You can outrun most & fight them off quite well. A job like that shouldn't rely on intimidation & weapons alone. Criminals everyday get more ballsy to take a swing.
well tbh with you ... you should do it for a long time cause i wrestle alot just messin around with buddies and i start off exploding but im really eager to finish it right away cause i lose most of the time after like 2 minutes or something cause theyll usually get to pin me and do whatever since im way out of energy. practice your cardio you'll be surprised on how good it actually is.
Less repetition, more intensity. What he's doing at 1:45 is much better then the individual drills. So a combo of pass to mount, 10 quick strikes, back to side would work a lot better then just the individual strike.
At this rate this guy would gas half way through round 1.

They did, Steve Jenum and he won, but my question is what the hell are cops learning strikes for? They should be learning soft styles like jujutsu.

@ashdabest67 its sad that alot of cops dont respect martial arts
they believe that the night stick, taser, and gun is all they need
most of them dont even know how to properly fight with a night stick, and some are too trigger happy with the taser
