'Stranger on the Shore' (Acker Bilk) - Bill Westcott

This is the first piece of music I remember hearing on a car radio. I had heard it at home and was haunted by the melody (is it a minor key?) Then on a car trip to Lake Erie, I heard it in the car... That would have been about June of 1962. I was astonished! How did that particular music from HOME make it into the car?! So I finally make the connection. ANYHOW, your rendition resolves into a major chord at the end. I think that's why I always think it's a hope inspiring tune. Thank You!
