@Aenglaland first of all the Idea of that kind of Engine is already older then people can think. The Germans fixed the major problems the Brits and Americans had with their Engines, also they redesigned a lot of parts. Like the Jumo 004 with its axial-flow compressor. The Engine was basically some years ahead compared to other engines from other countries. But of course we rather introduced the first Jet-Fighter and Bomber than the first Jet-Engine. But ours were simply better :)

Albert Einstein: I think Einstein was Jewish and not German.He became a German citizen in 1914 and remained in Berlin until 1933 when he renounced his citizenship for political reasons and emigrated to America to take the position of Professor of Theoretical Physics at Princeton*. He became a United States citizen in 1940 and retired from his post in 1945. (Reference: From Google-A Biograph of Einstein)

His family lived in germany for hundreds of years. Later he had some overlapping citizenships (Swiss, Austro-Hungary). In 1914 he became Prussian (maybe you got this wrong).

@elManu086 I do not really know what you are suggesting as I referenced my source of information. I was quoteing , hence I referenced my source as being from "A Biograph of Einstein" available from google. Just because a person has citizenship-that does not nessesarally make the person a native.

I would have liked that you give dates and inventor for the first part. That this is not argued.The Jeans is made from a cotton cloth made in Nimes (France) and called "denim" (denim = of Nimes). This cloth tinged in blue was also called " blue of Genoa ", what gave by deformation Blue Jeans.The automobile was invented in 1771 by Joseph Cugnot, the German contribution in this domain is essential.

(both are German) invented the first car with a cumbustion engine as we know it nowadays.

The automobile is only an application of the internal combustion engine (plane, boat). What differentiates the automobile of a hackney cab it is that it is self-propelled. Steam engine (used till the beginning of the XXth century in the automobile), internal combustion engine, fuel cell are only means.

Himmler was german...but he was a cruel beast. (no jokes about this murder)
Tiger Panzer VI (tigertank) was a brilliant german tank. (one of the best in second world war)
also the sturmgewehr (a fantastic stormrifle)
SS (was the german tool of the Todesfabriken (deathfacility)) and othe jobs. (bloodhounds)
and the V2 was the first human invention, that fly in the space (one of the most important inventions of the human history)

So clearly America wasn't as bad as Germany was in WW2.

I am pretty sure that the Americans killed millions of native Americans (Indians) and I don't want to go into numbers now. In fact...there is a German saying "es gibt kein Recht im Unrecht" which will explain that it is not a matter of how many ppl you kill...it says, if you kill one its it is injustice.
And I don't even want to go there when it comes to the U.S forcing other nations and cultures to believe in U.S values and they justify it with democracy...it is a disgrace

@Aenglaland first of all the Idea of that kind of Engine is already older then people can think. The Germans fixed the major problems the Brits and Americans had with their Engines, also they redesigned a lot of parts. Like the Jumo 004 with its axial-flow compressor. The Engine was basically some years ahead compared to other engines from other countries. But of course we rather introduced the first Jet-Fighter and Bomber than the first Jet-Engine. But ours were simply better :)

Dr. Hans von Ohain and Sir Frank Whittle are both recognized as being the co-inventors of the jet engine. Each worked separately and knew nothing of the other's work. Hans von Ohain is considered the designer of the first operational turbojet engine. Frank Whittle was the first to register a patent for the turbojet engine in 1930. Ohain was granted a patent for his turbojet engine in 1936. However, Ohain's jet was the first to fly in 1939. Frank Whittle's jet first flew in in 1941.

The jet plane thing you sad is not wrong - but Germany had the first jet airplane - they used it at the end of worldwar 2.
