Seems smooth at the wheel but really on-off with the throtle... from the shots it seemed that the driver had to get the car turned in with more of the fine touch of the right foot than the steering wheel...

Perhaps the tyres were cold/not gripping in the front in such a short space of time?

thats the idea with most porsche cup style cars (and porsches in general). throttle steering is crucial to the racing equation in a porsche(more so than for a FeRwd car) and for the porsches advantages to be utilized to their max, that amount of throttle steering is necessary!

gtrmagic, same thing as sechsgang said, its all about the throttle control to keep the car balanced, its rear engined so the majority of the weight is in the rear, meaning oversteer is in abundance at times. porsches have always been amazing handling cars despite the engine placement though.
