Great song came out after my senior year in high school, summer of 1994. This song had good traction on the charts, unfortunately it did not chart higher and the band did not have more hits. Great tune brings back memories of 17 years ago.
Seen them live every chance I get in CO, fantastic band, deserving of much greater commercial success, but I really enjoy and cherish their music. Their talent level is much greater than a few I can think of who were more popular on the radio.
I first heard this song on a Cartoon Network cassett tape mix featuring Space Ghost. If anyone remembers that tape if so Id like to know where to find it. Lol! Thanks to the Freddy Jones Band for making such a epic song. This song always sparks my imagination to draw, write, daydream! This is one of my favorite songs of the 90's and of all time!!
1st heard this on WXRT in chicago that summer...ran down to Tower to buy the CD. went on to see them perform many winters in colorado. they alway rocked!! awesome tune.

15 years ago or so I saw them play in NJ and I had never listened before. Great Sound and should have been out in the public more. I will always turn it up when I listen to FJB
They never duplicated the success of this song. Such a shame, I don't believe this to be their best tune by any stretch. The world missed out on The Freddy Jones band. These guys are (were?) such a refreshing group, with fantastic songs.
Pitty the original site is an obstetical to get threw. I was going to post what a great song. Never heard it until last week. Radio stations here play to their liking. Which is a pity. Great song.
Love this song. None of the radio stations have played him? Hello, why?? I so enjoyed the guitar, drum and the vocals! Wow, I heard this song on a radio station trivia question? Why in the hell don't they play this song thank you very much dave92!!
@maretajean I am you idiot!! Wake up! it's time to go to work!!! This is your actual night time dream song. Then you can sing it all you want during the day!!
This entire album was great, (as was North Avenue Wake Up Call) thank god this song received some airplay..Another great band no one has ever heard of...Keep watching American Idol kids!!!
When it first came out it was an escape from all the depressing grunge crap that was blaring out of the radio at that time...sorry to offend anyone but with grunge music, I didn't care for it then and I don't care for it now!
I 'spose I'm the first one to ever hear this song. I woke up one Tuesday morning in the Wrigleyville brownstone I was sharing with Marty and heard him writing this. Seems he finished it in one sitting. Great guy and a great talent.
I just noticed something.. this song sounds like a distint cousin of Dada's Dizzknee Land... If I had to choose I would pick Dizzknee Land over this..
This is from the 90s? I just heard this for the first time on 101.9 rxp New York. I knew as soon as I heard it, it was an older song but it sounded longer on the radio. Cool tune... amazing to hear a new(forme)/old song on the radio!
Why didn't this song get more airplay? Super dreamy lyrics, great guitar parts, and nice vocals--gives a person a nice break from what is often a hard world.
Thank you so much for putting this out here. This is one of my all time favorite songs by a great band. This song describes my life, most days any way. I never liked the live versions as well as the studio version. And now here it is! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, hordebands. Good job on the video too. Well done, all the way around.
Haha scottr im with you on this one. I didnt buy the cd but heard it on the radio but i actually couldnt find the song name. Hows the CD everybody? is it worth buying?
I thought I'd let you know that this video you added is in stereo. Add &fmt=18 to the end of the URL and the audio is played in stereo. Thanks for the vid!
Yeah, totally. Remember the 1990s? What a great time. No War on Terror, no credit crisis, much less fear in the air. What a carefree time. I miss those days.
Fantastic song...

ColorsBright 2 years ago
Fortunately you don't have to choose. Dizzknee Land got a lot more radio airplay but this song could have been just as successful with more exposure.
