I think interviewers don't ask a lot of different questions because this way there are sure that they will get an answer, that's the safe option I'd say but it was interesting though, didn't learn anything as usual and of course I'd like someone to ask questions more musically interesting or about the dynamics in the band, how they deal w/ each other songs etc ...

Well, if you wanted to know the answers to the questions that were asked in the interview, maybe you should have watched the 100 other interviews on them where they are constantly asked the same repetitive questions about sainthood, then maybe these questions could have been a little more interesting and not the same content as other interviews.

"What's your writing process like..."

"You have dedicated fans..."

These things are always asked. The same questions are just bound to be repeated because the interviews aren't for die-hard fans, they're generally catered towards new fans and uninformed T+S novices as a way to suck them in.

@himfan1 Dude. It's true. We all know it. But, if you haven't noticed, Sara and Tegan, regardless of what the question is, still manage to make it interesting, and always throw in some new anecdote or opinion that makes the fans smile or laugh. And that's the bottom line. And Sara and Tegan don't go into an interview hoping to divulge personal information, but rather to advertise and support their newest album and to charm the viewers in the process.
