.....I have watched this film a few times, and this tune sticks in my mind the most, I was surprised that it was Cilla Black that sung it, it is very catchy, and am surprised it was not released as a A side supposed to a B side, but never the less a real good catchy tune.

very interested to hear from the 'guys' that lived in the area of filming, could you pinpoint it for me? i went to the school that can be seen in the opening titles of series 1, it was then called Gibbons Secondary Modern in Brentfield road Londo nw10, anyone else that went there would remember the huge power station just outside the boys playground! The 'School' building is still there, but is no longer a school, and the powerstation has been much reduced, have a Google at the area?

I had this song on a single years ago. When I copied it to a CD it was full of crackles and jumps. Nice to hear it again. Don't suppose you would have the opening title music to the film by Mike Vickers?

This was so prominent in the film, but in fact only ended up as a B-side to the single "Something Tells Me." A waste, because it's a really really good tune!!
