Christians do *NOT* believe in original sin. The concept of original, or "ancestral sin" is not Biblical. It is a man-made doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church and men. Jesus taught that children are free of sin. The Bible teaches that man is born GOOD, but he sins against God by denying the good he was created to be. Christians believe in original sin & original goodness. God originally made Adam & Eve good but their sin is what corrupted their goodness, and corrupted their descendants. Another way of explaining original sin, scientifically is by seeing original sin as the animal nature which all humans have inherited through evolution. The animal nature in man is what causes us to sin. Jesus came to destroy the animal nature so we could evolve into the God nature as sons of God made in the image of Christ.

We are not born with personal sin or Adam's sin but we do inherit his fallen state. Even Islam teaches that Adam and Hawa were in Jennah *originally*, and when they sinned Allah threw them out. Yet why don't we get a chance to be born in Jennah? Just because Adam and Hawa sinned doesn't mean all of us would sin. You see, even in Islam people inherit the fallen state of Adam, and that inheritance is what we term "original sin." The question is how do we get back? No *man* can override Adam's sin!

Allah SWT is not punishing all humans for Adam and Eve's sin. He created us with a plan, knowing full well we would be dwelling on Earth. It is our DESTINY to be here, not our punishment.

I will create a vicegerent on EARTH (noticably not Jannah). Earth is the ultimate destiny of mankind, not our abode of punishment. It is the place for our trials, and the punishment for every individual who earns it will be Hell. Those who have faith and submit to Allah SWT will dwell in Jannah.
There is a lot of confusion about what I said. I did not say we inhereit sin, though it is undeniable that we inherit the fallen *state* of Adam and Eve. I don't see how you can say being thrown out of Jennah isn't a punishment. Perhaps you believe life on dunya has a greater purpose in Allah's plan, but it's still a punishment.
How can we inherit the fallen state of Adam, if it was OUR destiny to be placed upon Earth? And that destiny was decreed before Adam was even created?
My point is that Adam was actually created FOR Earth.
He was given a taste of Jannah, NOT because there was a chance that he might get to stay there. There was NO CHANCE OF THAT, SINCE ALLAH CLEARLY ALREADY STATED THAT HIS DESTINY WAS EARTH, 2:30.
The taste of Jannah was because Allah SWT wanted him and all of his offspring to know what reward we might be given (Jannah) if we live through this life on Earth (our DESTINED abode) in obedience to His Laws.
This is part of the beauty that we were created as beings with free will. If we were going to stay in Jannah, we would not have free will, we would be like the angels (who do not have free will).
An angel who does not have free will and worships Allah SWT is inferior in his worship to a human being who DOES have free will and still chooses to worship Allah SWT. That is the reason why Allah SWT commanded them to bow down to Adam.
On hand you say we have free will, on the other you say it was our destiny to be on dunya, the two don't go hand in hand. The very fact that you believe Allah created Adam and Eve in Jennah, allowed them to dwell there, and then gave them a test, signifies they're meant to be there. What if they obeyed Allah, would they have still fallen down to dunya? No. What of their children then? They (and us too!) would have lived in Jennah with them. Thus when they sinned, we end up in dunya with them.
Listen, you are stating speculation. You have no facts, you are only making conjecture. In Islam, this is not permissible. EVERYTHING requires proof.
Destiny is one of the key elements of faith. While Allah SWT placed us here with free will, he exists entirely outside of time and space. Time is irrelevant to Him. This moment between you and I is just as real and present for Him as the moment that He created the universe.

Read the ayat I posted above (2:30) and the Hadeeth about the discrepancy between Moses and Adam. Our divine destiny as vicegerents of Earth, is to placed here for a time until we do receive our ultimate abode, inshAllah, Jannah.
Adam was placed in Jannah for a time. It was however his divine destiny to disobey Allah. THAT is part of the nature of ALL of mankind. We have free will and therefore are all PRONE to disobedience. If you were not born with free will, then you WOULD be born in Jannah because you would be an Angel by nature. You are not an angel. Therefore, you are in exactly the place that YOU deserve to be. Now, the question is, can you pass the test of submission and obedience and make it into Jannah?
By definition destiny refers to a predetermined course of events which would deny free will. Are you saying Allah positively ordained Adam to sin against him? You also said: "If you were not born with free will, then you WOULD be born in Jannah because you would be an Angel by nature." This doesn't make sense because Allah created the first humans in Jennah, not dunya. He could have simply made them in dunya if that was His intention. Allah ordained they rmeain in Jennah: Surah 20 ayat 117-119.
If sin is not inherited then why we all are still on the earth not in the heaven? Haven't Adam and Eva been punished by GOD for their sin, why should we carry their sin and suffer on the Earth? I'm not saying you will be judged by what Adam and Eve did, however you don't understand the implications of the Fall. It wasn't simply a fall from jennah to dunya, it was spiritual as well. Jennah was supposed to be our inheritence, we were meant to be born into it, so to speak. Sin made us lose this gift and we're left with an infinite gap between us and God. Clearly if you die separated from God it will continue in the hereafter.
Can you please prove that we were meant to be born into Jannah? There is absolutely no precedent for this idea anywhere in the Quran and Sunnah, and this very idea contradicts the Quran.

God did not create us for heaven, he created us for earth, that was our ultimate destiny (al Quran 2:30, see below). Every human being is born with knowledge of Allah SWT and a set purpose to worship Him (7:172, 51:56). In ALL of our lives we are tested. Those who pass the test are those with faith in Him.

in islam no one can say who will go to hell and heaven only allah knows...and islam does not say that only "muslims" will go to heaven, those who followed the religion sent to them by there prophets and did good are also eligible for heaven it is based on merit you will be judged in the end for what you did on earth and only allah can judge and allah knows best.....original goodness means that all ppl of all races are born with a clean slate or pure or "original goodness"..hope that helps

Islam teaches to respect all religions much more than anyother religion has taught.
Only Islam has the potential to be the final, ultimate and universal religion of the mankind bcz it accepts all revered figures in other religions as prophets of Allah. When a Chiritian becomes Muslim he maintain his/her reverance to Jesus but with some moderate changes and so the case is with other. But when a Hindu or Muslim converts to Chritianity he/she must forgo his/her earlier beliefs.

Christians believe in original sin & original goodness. God originally made Adam & Eve good but their sin is what corrupted their goodness, and corrupted their descendants. Another way of explaining original sin, scientifically is by seeing original sin as the animal nature which all humans have inherited through evolution. The animal nature in man is what causes us to sin. Jesus came to destroy the animal nature so we could evolve into the God nature as sons of God made in the image of Christ.

We are not born with personal sin or Adam's sin but we do inherit his fallen state. Even Islam teaches that Adam and Hawa were in Jennah *originally*, and when they sinned Allah threw them out. Yet why don't we get a chance to be born in Jennah? Just because Adam and Hawa sinned doesn't mean all of us would sin. You see, even in Islam people inherit the fallen state of Adam, and that inheritance is what we term "original sin." The question is how do we get back? No *man* can override Adam's sin!

I will create a vicegerent on EARTH (noticably not Jannah). Earth is the ultimate destiny of mankind, not our abode of punishment. It is the place for our trials, and the punishment for every individual who earns it will be Hell. Those who have faith and submit to Allah SWT will dwell in Jannah.

There is a lot of confusion about what I said. I did not say we inhereit sin, though it is undeniable that we inherit the fallen *state* of Adam and Eve. I don't see how you can say being thrown out of Jennah isn't a punishment. Perhaps you believe life on dunya has a greater purpose in Allah's plan, but it's still a punishment.

My point is that Adam was actually created FOR Earth.
He was given a taste of Jannah, NOT because there was a chance that he might get to stay there. There was NO CHANCE OF THAT, SINCE ALLAH CLEARLY ALREADY STATED THAT HIS DESTINY WAS EARTH, 2:30.
The taste of Jannah was because Allah SWT wanted him and all of his offspring to know what reward we might be given (Jannah) if we live through this life on Earth (our DESTINED abode) in obedience to His Laws.

This is part of the beauty that we were created as beings with free will. If we were going to stay in Jannah, we would not have free will, we would be like the angels (who do not have free will).
An angel who does not have free will and worships Allah SWT is inferior in his worship to a human being who DOES have free will and still chooses to worship Allah SWT. That is the reason why Allah SWT commanded them to bow down to Adam.

On hand you say we have free will, on the other you say it was our destiny to be on dunya, the two don't go hand in hand. The very fact that you believe Allah created Adam and Eve in Jennah, allowed them to dwell there, and then gave them a test, signifies they're meant to be there. What if they obeyed Allah, would they have still fallen down to dunya? No. What of their children then? They (and us too!) would have lived in Jennah with them. Thus when they sinned, we end up in dunya with them.

Listen, you are stating speculation. You have no facts, you are only making conjecture. In Islam, this is not permissible. EVERYTHING requires proof.
Destiny is one of the key elements of faith. While Allah SWT placed us here with free will, he exists entirely outside of time and space. Time is irrelevant to Him. This moment between you and I is just as real and present for Him as the moment that He created the universe.
So His knowledge was written, our destinies were written....

There is no harm in the Prophet doing that which Allah has ordained for him; THAT WAS ALLAH'S WAY WITH THOSE WHO PASSED AWAY OF OLD - AND THE COMMANDMENT OF ALLAH IS CERTAIN (i.e. unalterable) DESTINY (33:38)
Read the ayat I posted above (2:30) and the Hadeeth about the discrepancy between Moses and Adam. Our divine destiny as vicegerents of Earth, is to placed here for a time until we do receive our ultimate abode, inshAllah, Jannah.

Adam was placed in Jannah for a time. It was however his divine destiny to disobey Allah. THAT is part of the nature of ALL of mankind. We have free will and therefore are all PRONE to disobedience. If you were not born with free will, then you WOULD be born in Jannah because you would be an Angel by nature. You are not an angel. Therefore, you are in exactly the place that YOU deserve to be. Now, the question is, can you pass the test of submission and obedience and make it into Jannah?

By definition destiny refers to a predetermined course of events which would deny free will. Are you saying Allah positively ordained Adam to sin against him? You also said: "If you were not born with free will, then you WOULD be born in Jannah because you would be an Angel by nature." This doesn't make sense because Allah created the first humans in Jennah, not dunya. He could have simply made them in dunya if that was His intention. Allah ordained they rmeain in Jennah: Surah 20 ayat 117-119.

If sin is not inherited then why we all are still on the earth not in the heaven? Haven't Adam and Eva been punished by GOD for their sin, why should we carry their sin and suffer on the Earth? OH, yeah it is different case right?! I am a muslim but I can't stand when people have very weak arguments against other religions, we all are brothers in this world, who is right or wrong only GOD knows... I'm not saying you will be judged by what Adam and Eve did, however you don't understand the implications of the Fall. It wasn't simply a fall from jennah to dunya, it was spiritual as well. Jennah was supposed to be our inheritence, we were meant to be born into it, so to speak. Sin made us lose this gift and we're left with an infinite gap between us and God. Clearly if you die separated from God it will continue in the hereafter.

Can you please prove that we were meant to be born into Jannah? There is absolutely no precedent for this idea anywhere in the Quran and Sunnah, and this very idea contradicts the Quran.

God did not create us for heaven, he created us for earth, that was our ultimate destiny (al Quran 2:30, see below). Every human being is born with knowledge of Allah SWT and a set purpose to worship Him (7:172, 51:56). In ALL of our lives we are tested. Those who pass the test are those with faith in Him.

I do not judge individuals by the groups or affiliations alone. I look at the teachings of those groups and affiliations and attribute them to the person that would associate themselves with those groups. Don't you understand that?
