  • That's awesome!

  • Song?

  • awsome.

  • You should add fog.

  • @TooAwesomeToDie7331

I tried doing that earlier, but some things got sort of messed up and I had to end up disabling it. It is a good idea though and I'd like to add it if I could get it working.

  • I have to say sir, That is pretty fucking epic.

  • This is really good, you could even make it a real game kinda if you add some enemies like floating eyeballs and ogres, oh and what would be cool to if it had multiple levels of it, you know, up and down :P

But nice job, I would really love to see it continue

(p.s.) Do you think you might be able to post some tutorials about doing blockland stuff in blender, big fan of that :)

  • @xXblueghostXx0

Thanks. I'm planning on adding in some sorts of customizable AIs that follow paths or run around the maze.

  • @Riyuzakisan What about the tutorials, really want that :P

  • @xXblueghostXx0

Oh sorry, I'm not sure about a video tutorial, it's kind of hard to explain that way since there was a lot that went into the block map generator. I could post up a .blend file for now and possibly write some information about it on my site. You were talking about my previous block map videos, correct?

  • @Riyuzakisan Kind of, but what i really need help with is making tools for the minecraftians, i have the blocks and stuff i just have trouble making the tools and texturing them, think you could make one on that?

  • @xXblueghostXx0

I haven't gotten that far in the game's development yet ;)

it was more of a test anyways. There are a number of ways you could go about making tools. You can make a pixel texture on a square image and unwrap it onto a plane in Blender. Subdivide the plane until the faces on it match up with the pixels of the texture. Select the faces you need for the tool and press P > separate by selection. You can extrude the separated mesh to make it 3D. As for programming, that's different

  • @Riyuzakisan I don't want programming, just a way to make it :)

  • @xXblueghostXx0 Btw, i feel like an idiot, but im putting the blocks over the texture i want but when i render it doesnt show up, i havent unwrapped (forgot how T.T) or stuff. Help? lol.

  • Nice job.

  • pretty cool man, is there a way to make it higher so the spikes arent as obvious? or does it not even matter

  • @XZekeZapataX

Yeah, I could possibly make the spikes smaller and not as noticeable. Thanks for pointing that out

  • @Riyuzakisan no problem :)
