  • Fuck Win7, use XP or Linux

  • First time i used the computer it had vista, I then was an Ubuntu user.

  • Fuck XP, use Win7 or WDP

  • Windows XP change everything. for many years from 95 to 2000, Microsoft still uses the same interface. And then XP comes, people love it until now. First time I touch the computer is when I was 4 years old and the OS is Windows XP

  • But xp was very good

  • Mac os x just blew the look of windows xp out of the water and then it took Microsoft 6 years to make vista which sucked but had the glossy look of os x

  • I am crying in the inside.

  • i think this is a uk ad of XP...

  • Ten years later, still using XP.

  • @AveratisArmada You're not alone.

  • @famouswolfy Took a tour at Holden's (GM in Australia) and they ALL run Windows 7

  • ahh the good old days

  • Thumbs up if could hear the Windows ME intro theme in the music!!!!

  • XP was released earlier than it's scheduled 2002 release so to compete with the upcoming Mac OS X. But that made the first XP's very buggy. Such as Wireless connections dropping all the time. Only when SP2 was released did most of the bugs get ironed out. Though, OS X was waaay more beautiful than XP because of the streamlined Aqua UI and the translucent dock , instead of XP's huge ugly green start button. And all these UI was released "Long before Longhorn(Vista) ) ;-)

  • @86123maxxi At least it could play games.

  • xp was a very good operating system, i stopped using it about 3 months ago when i got a new pc and installed windows 7

i can't go back to xp now though as windows 7 is one of the best OS Microsoft or any company has made to date so far

p.s probably going to sell my desktop for a laptop in the next 3-4 months for my coursework, desktop pc's are outdated now anyway's it's all about tablet's now which is good

  • @famouswolfy I want to make a Windows XP game console!

  • best of windows xp upgrade for 1tb hitachi deskstar was working on quad core intel no problemo!

  • 9 years and XP still rocks! unrivaled! thats why we love it

  • windows 7 sucks guys , sorry to tell ya

I will use xp 10 years more if i can .

  • XP is a smiley face :)

  • @geckoman07 XP is a face sticking its tongue out and closing its eyes tightly.

  • love xp still use it today best os out yet

  • yeah experience....thats what u need to run any windows os

thats the only reason its successful, cause ppl were force fed it and r now scared to try anything new

i remember tryin linux for the first time after years of computer class in elementary school on windows, it felt weird and scary

  • Vista. The WoW Starts Now.

    WoW its slow! :D

  • ohh its nice,,

  • Nice commercial. Windows XP was truly a great Operating System.

  • If non of u get my reply comment to www2nicksdomian

    its a joke

See if you read his comment he said that xp was realeased shortly after 9/11

and he said that the slogan for xp was "you can fly" but it was changed for that reason

  • XP is THE BEST operating system EVER MADE.

  • This video... I remember, I had a CD of this.

I got this CD at a local postal office, in 2001.

My mum bought it for me.

  • windows xp=good

    windows vista=bad

    windows 7=better

  • hey,

could you send me that file please?

    Thanks

  • looks soo old

  • Any details on the music source? Awesome!

  • Danget, just jizzed my pants again it was so awesome.

  • im on windows xp forever

  • if you listen to the music

do it resemble the Windows ME welcome sound

  • I bet they edit all microsoft ads on MACINTOSHES AuhAUhUHAuhUAHAHuU

  • comment fail

  • no, you know its true, there is NO professional app for video editing under windows, no one relies on it for real video editing jobs

  • No, you are wrong. Source Forge has TONS of free video editing software tailored for WINDOWS.

  • I said PRO apps, nobody relies seriously on free windows video editing solutions. Pros use Macs. period.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro runs on Windows. :D

But I have to agree, Video and photography professionals use Macs. Serious programmers use *nix or Windows.

  • You have obviously never tried what is available, than.

  • ohh the "obviously" statement, very basic fallacy. I sure did, thats why I switched to Mac.

  • LOL, right because paying $30 for an upgrade that is always a free update via Service on Windows is smart? Or that open source software (like Open Office) does just as much as the software that costs cash and is how Linux is so large?

  • you know what, you just conviced me Mac SUX! Can we be friends now?

    lets chat: a/s/l ?

  • ew...

  • ehrm, open office sucks balls.

it does nowhere near as much as office 2000 or office XP.

that and it's almost a complete copy of the things that it does have. also, than? it's thEn.. god, why does everyone say then and than mixed up? it's like they insist on using the opposite just to annoy absolutely everyone ever.

  • Wow, are you that absent minded? It has the EXACT same features and has recognition from JAVA for OPEN SOURCE DEVELOPMENT. Of course it has the same features, it's so you don't have to waste $75 on Office.

  • lol I'm not talking about it's freaking "java coding C++ application compatible certified code" similarities or whatever.. I'm talking about general features, the buttons aren't in the same spots, it doesn't have the user-friendly layout that microsoft office has, or if it does you have to wade through millions of options to get to it. I have open office and it is not the same as microsoft office.

  • Whoop dee doo, and you still get a fully capable office suite for $0.00 and is compatible with MS Office in every way.

Of course it isn't like MS office, because it ISNT MS office.

  • not true, there are some things it simply cannot do in relation to MS office. It's not user friendly, it doesn't have the useable interface that can be easilly figured out by, say, an elderly person who needs it for simple tasks and it doesn't have that page layout that I want, it has just a blank white screen with borders.. that's stupid. why not just make it a page-sized white space to write on? it gives it some scale.

and btw I know office 2007 in particular sucks

  • Office 07 does blow ass

I don't care for a friendly interface, and I am sure an elderly person would be confused if you showed them how to work Excel.

  • but not word

  • I wonder who came up with the crappy name XP?

  • I think it means eXPerience.

XP launched in October of 2001, which was shortly after the 9/11 tragedy. The original slogan was meant to be "you can fly," but it was changed for that reason.

  • heh I always called it Windows X-sPensive lol xD

but did it get released not that long ago? when the twin towers got attacked? wow, I didn't know I was still using windows 98 when the twin towers came down O_O

    that's really interesting you know

  • @www2nicksdomain you can fly... INTO A BUILDING?

    lol

  • @www2nicksdomain I saw in one advert of XP that it had a similar slogan, "yes you can".

  • @www2nicksdomain

Actually it was "Prepare to Fly"

  • @WackoX1337 You are indeed correct.

  • @www2nicksdomain

    Bit said on Microsoft.

  • XP is not a bad name, comes from eXPerience, it was the best windows I tried. I like it better than Vista. But if have to chose, would go to 7

  • @HaywardJack its not crappy. i think its cool.

  • @HaywardJack XP is short for experience. i know cs i found it in the built in windows xp screensavers.its a vaving flag.

  • @HaywardJack If you check the XP screen savers and change to "3D Flying Objects", go to "Settings", change the "Style" to "Textured Flag" leave it default and OK, preview the screen saver and you have your answer :)

  • @itsdglad4 To be honest, I can't believe that I'm still getting replies to a year-old comment lol

  • Windows XP has certainly lived up to all of its expectations like the words that are listed in this video!

WELL DONE MICROSOFT FOR CREATING SUCH A RELIABLE OPERATING SYSTEM AND WELL DONE WINDOWS XP!

  • and if longhorn had been continued we could have still enjoyed familitaries that we loved in XP :( stupid vista

  • Windows 98 was like windows XP

    WIndows Me was like Vista

    and i hope:

Windows 7 would be like XP...

    in performance and reliability...

    :-)

  • it is! exept in games it lets me down

  • well you don't expect games to all work in windows 7 now because it's still in beta. But when it's released it will not let anyone down

  • its already released. the rtm is on mdsn for its subscribers. ive already got it. but the public cant get it yet

  • It certianly was not like this on launch, it was similar to Vista infact, but thanks to Service packs and updates it lived up to expectations.

  • "Box of old junk?"

  • You know, like a cardboard box that contains stuff. The stuff in this box happened to be computer-related and most of it was old.

This its name: "Box of old junk."

  • thanks had to do this for homework lol

  • No problem.

    I guess that's what I'm here for.
