You suck at Elmsley Count, practice a whole lot more and you're set to go... I didn't like your handling of the effect It was too crampy and sometimes it gave away the secret....
Move your thumb over when you show the bottom ace that "disappears". Show the whole ace cards that disappear and reappear. Then this would be a good trick.
good performance, I'm just learning this trick myself. You're handling is different than the one I'm using (your phase one kinda looks like my phase two) but all in all you performed it well. It's a fairly daunting routine to tackle ha ha
I could wrong on this but to my knowledge Dream of Aces and the Final Aces are two different routines. Both are Ace Assembly effects. Just how I see it.
I Just don't see any logic unless, you have cards sticking together. Double sided tape I can do this trick. However with out extra cards hidden in your aces. It's Impossible. Logic and common sense tell me that much. I dunno. I don't do trick unless I dont gimmick a card. I know something funny is going on here. It's not all done with a reg deck and all sleight of hand. I can't give props to people who use props. Sorry.
Man, it's too bad he can't completely dematerialize the aces. Or he can't actually transport the aces! It is MAGIC, it is an ILLUSION! Magic is about lying to your eyes, and he has done that perfectly. He has made you SO certain that there is double sided tape, when that is not the case. Just to let you in on the secret: he does not have real powers.
Gaff deck? Are you crazy? xD That's just a NICE sleight of hand! But I got him what he did, the third time he went through it I had him :) Wonderful performance man! =D
No. Copperfield does the more common version of Dream of Aces, but more visual than normal. This routine is older than that. That's why you don't see anyone else doing this variation.
The gimmick that Copperfield used isn't made anymore. However, you can substitute for double sided tape but that is a bad gimmick entirely and is something not to rely on. Send me a regular message and I'll reply on what else you can use.
You do this differently than anybody I've ever seen before. This way is a nice idea. It requires you to move much more slowly and carefully though, which always raises natural suspicion in my mind.
Your Elmsley count needs some serious work, though.
Great Performance, you looked suspicious all the time but i still couldn't catch it,,,

Nice trick but make sure you practice and you should always keep the audience occupied.
