actually that has nothing to do with it. His decision is solely based on the recommendation of his agent, Igor Larionov, and more than anything has to do with Larionov's politics. Alex said he'll play for either Russia or USA but it'll depend on Larionov's recommendation.
i played hockey against him on his draft year in a chicago tournament, he just happened to break his stick and i just happened to pick it up, he just so happened to be first overall and i reconzied the name on the stick and it was his
