  • I love watching this song evolve over the years. Watching the older recordings and moving up to this one you can really see all the changes he did. I was lucky enough to see Don live on my birthday and i go to request this song =)

  • that's some fast string changing! gotta use the lap method!

  • Absolutely beautiful performance, and a beautiful guitar. From the video you can tell it's unplugged and it still resonates so well.

Also love the re-innovation on the harmonic part at 4:27

  • yah he's a trip, I learn somthin new about em all the time...

  • what tuning is he playing in??

  • @MrLoganMohr C G Eb F G Bb

Just make sure you use a medium or heavy gauge to get the most out of the low tuned strings.

  • wtf?! he speaks french?!

  • yes, but with a canadian french accent actually, and it seems that he can speak german too, he asks in the beginning "if it is in french that we use the words major and minor to speak about a note, or if it is in german", this man's incredible x)

  • @JoeLaFigue indeed german ^^ /watch?v=Jq8s1rHVNgg

  • @JoeLaFigue look up his page. he's german. hence the accent ;)

  • @Lihaschu Hum, I read everywhere that he was Canadian, he's very interested in foreign languages though, maybe you mistook because he's toured in germany lately. Or perhaps am I wrong, you're making me doubt xD but I was pretty sure he was Canadian so far !

  • @Lihaschu Don Ross is most definitely Canadian. He was born in Montreal and currently lives in Halifax.

  • I know! WTF.

  • @fossegrim91

    Of course... French Canadian :-)

  • @fossegrim91 he can speak German, Spanish and Italian, too!

  • @fossegrim91 Not only that, he sings too. Just saw that in another video. He keeps on amazing me :P

  • Mon dieu, Don parle français ? cet homme m'etonne de jour en jour

  • kewl man, i love these live sounds.. xD
