The thing about this long triangle is that it reminds me too much of Brooke/Lucas/Peyton in one tree hill. They established Leyton as soul mates early on so us Brucas people never stood a chance, even in the 3rd season.

I TOTALLY agree with everything that you said - I really wish they would have just left Dan and Marti as friends. The whole idea that a guy and girl can't be best friends without secretly being in love with each other is so played out. But like you said, it's only been ten episodes, so there's still plenty of time for Dan&Savannah (or more accurately, the writers) to find their way back :)
