  • At 0:10 you got tricked and kept on moving leaving yourself open for a brief opening and thats when a good fighter would have jumped on top of you. By the way , i dont like wong kiew kit and his chikung(ive read all his books) is not the way i was taught to cultivate internal power.Wong kiew kits chikung is good for grannys and grandpas, it will give you chi but not true internal power as is taught in genuine internal arts it is clear to see by the way all his students move and by how he teaches

  • @oscie1 the opening you seem to be referrring to is not really present or at least in the way you see it. Being turned slightly away while on the ground is nothing at all that will hamper a reverse kick from the ground. Have you ever trained these patterns before?

  • @oscie1 I will fill you in on a little secret (if you want to call it that) the tactics and philosophies used are just as important as and kung fu pattern. A good fighter may have tried to jump on top of Master Kai Uwe Jettkandt, you are mistaken if you think that would be unfavorable for him or that Master Kai would be at a disadvantage, The monkey in kung fu is famous for his bag of tricks & I promise you that you can not truly appreciate this fact from watchin such a short video.

  • OMG in the previous clip, I thought that guy was wearing a face mask but oh yeah... Pure bold LOL :>). Snow over the roof LOL. What a ground Monkey he, he.

  • UFC MMA is different than real MMA

  • try this on the streets its sooooooooooo effective...............

  • if any one has a real GROUND MONKEY form can they message me with the link please.

  • It is a Bad Guard not tryin to hate but if u want some excellent guard u should do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu like what CarNikolaj, and Suyajessiejin said.

  • a not-very-special guard + a know-nothing guard passer

  • an internet genius :P point me in the direction of something to your standards? i'd love to see.

  • If you really want to learn ground, there is this one art called "Brazilian Jujutsu". They have a lot of useful techniques.

  • @shaolindrunk Check out Pride FC. Watch how they used to defend against soccer kicks and stomps.

  • cool.

but truth is someone from UFC wouldn't be worried about a kick or 2 they would just get on top of you and pummel the crap outa ya.

  • if you say so, but generally it's not as easy as you make it sound.

  • im not sayin its easy. The average person wudnt know how 2 handle it but a UFC fighter would or should be able to dominate you if ur on yer back.

  • that really is more of a sweeping generalization, they may or may not be able to, it comes down more to skills rather than if they're a ufc fighter or not.

  • true. But im just assuming that a UFC fighter should be well skilled when it comes to fighting.

  • yes, this would be logical, but then again who knowss?? O.o but yeah, I mean, whatever they are, if you're fighting somebody more skilled than you they're more than likely gonna beat you, and just cuz they're in the ufc, doesn't necessarily mean they'll win.

  • someone needs to teach this to someone in the UFC

  • haha, no, no, it's funnier if they keep doing stuff that they think works well =]

  • thats my master in shaolni kungfu^^ i learn it infrankfurt xDD yeeeeeeah^^ he rules

  • "It looks simple, but if you know how to apply,it could be very effective..."
