Jamaal berry was ranked as the #1 RB in the country by many services and for awhile ESPN had him as the #1 overall recruit in the country.

Carlos Hyde shouldn't even be named in the same breath as Berry

well yeah Hyde was running back the buckeyes had to get in that class. they definitely wanted Jamaal berry no doubt but they know big backs do best at tOSU. i just hope mr. berry doesnt turn out to be another Maurice wells (another hyped, smaller, speedy running back from Florida who did next to nothing at ohio state). i dont think he will---berry seems a lot more physical than mo wells.
