Clearly you do not know your movies well enough to know this one will be outstanding, the CG is a completely different thing in the movie if you know about movies you would know this. Roland makes the movie and the CG company does the rest, Roland puts all his work into the actual real stuff, so the acting and everything will be at it's best. As I said before, the CG in this movie will be amazing. But CG doesn't make a film what it is. It's about story, acting, dialog, chemistry between characters, plot, suspense, and a lot more.

For example. I have my pilots license, something else I doubt you have. And I know that once you take off you hold a steady rate of climb after leaving the runway, until reaching a set altitude at which point you exit the flight pattern. No one would ever take off and stay that close to the ground, ever.

First off, I'm not your "bud" dickwad. And no, I haven't worked on any films. But that doesn't change the fact I know more about CG than you do. Unless you also know how to use Shake, Nuke, XSI, Maya, Cortex, Syntheyes, Motionbuilder, Zbrush, and Mudbox. Which I highly doubt.

I am not a CGI worker but I do work with CGI people, I know what you can do with it probably more than you know you can do with it. CGI isn't the problem here though is it? It's your lack of knowledge on behalf of this film and all other films...bud. Knowing the companies and people that worked on this film this will be outstanding.

Yes, I know what you can do with computers, hence the reason I am in the CG industry, are you? Compositing and VFX can make every thing extremely appealing to look at visually, but it can't help a bad actor. Matte paintings and seamless integration will not help bad acting. Proper animations and good timing will not help bad acting. Amazing rigs with incredible controls and masterful scripts won't help bad acting. I find it amusing that since my opinion doesn't match yours, that makes me stupid.

Well looking at your videos you do not work with movies like this with their kind of programs, you won't believe what you can do to people with CGI. When you become more experienced with it then you will see how much you can really do with actors, but it's not like that. You see Roland obviously picked all the actors because he thought they were excellent in what they did. So obviously they will be great in the movie hence it involves the entire planet and such. It's not an opinion its fact bud.
