This is weird, I managed to clear the first ship two or three times, but I only got the "Congratulations" screen, I never got the "Transfer" screen, neither did my buds. Did we have some defective version of the game? After the "Congratulations" screen disappeared, you were still on the first, empty ship until you ran out of energy. I remember we were looking like crazy for some sort of exit all over the ship to get to the next ship...
The memory was so limited, you didn't want to waste much of it on a screen hardly anyone could see.
Remember that in the 80s, completing many arcade games was a SERIOUS achievement. Most games these days are designed to be completed by players of average skill.
@kernzyp On the PC using a WinVice/CCS64 emulator (can't remember which).
The CCS64 one allows you to record videos into .avi format, though nowadays I use screen capture, record the sound and synch the two. See my present channel for more vids...

I think I got no further than "red barchetta", it stuck in my mind then because of the rush reference.

I never even cleared the first ship. I wonder how many there are...

@strangejourney101 Infinite probably. Most early games were looped and had no endings.

Eight ships but after completing the last one it goes back to the first one with more powerful droids against with.
Game is endless.
