thank you sir! it is easy to understand. can you help me out with something please? i place the dots, but occasionally the line from one dot to another get disconnected. i don't know what to do there. thanks
I cropped my picture like you did. And it ended up so the picture was on a white background. So then, I created a new layer that I put beneath the photo layer and I made my background on that layer. Now, I've tried everything and I can't get the background to show up behind the picture
@girlzrockmag Right click the layer you're trying to crop and then click Add Alpha Channel. Then when you try to crop it, it should become transparent instead of white.
Hi. Thanks for this video. I'm a beginner. If I zoom in during the middle of this paths session, the marks (circles and squares) disappear. Any way around this? Thanks a lot.
@eeyyaakk instead of clicking on the zoom tool go to the bottom left hand side and you should see a little pannel that has a percentage in it jut click the down arrow for the pannel and click like 800% and it will zoom you in a lot
@Joethemonkey101 Seriously the guy who commented right before you said the same thing. Right click the layer in the Layers dialogue and there should be an option called something like "Create Alpha Channel". Then try cutting it.
Alright, everything is 100% cool until the very end.. I invert the selection, and cut the image like you did, but instead of getting an empty background with black/gray checkers, it's still just white. Can you tell me how to fix this?
@JazzyTodd Right click the layer in the Layers dialogue and there should be an option called something like "Create Alpha Channel". Then try cutting it.
Make a new layer and in the layers dialogue box click and drag the new layer underneath the picture layer. Then when you paint it'll paint on a separate layer underneath the picture.
Thanks for the vid! it helped alot

Every other anchor i put down doesn't connect with the previous anchor and instead begins a new one. How are you keeping them connected?

how to zoom O.O
DirectorThe 2 years ago
There's a little drop down box at the bottom of the screen with a percentage in it. Just click it and change the percentage.
OR you can hold Ctrl and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out.
