I'm on this for my pain while I'm having tests done to get a diagnosis. Both of my parents have fibromyalgia, and I've been experiencing many of the same things. I've only taken one a day for a week, being careful not to become addicted to pills, and all this does is take the edge off. Afterwards, it makes you feel shitty. ultracet and tramadol is prescribed for dogs after surgery. Google tramadol and vet if you don't beleive me. My doc at the VA tryde to give it to me for pain managment and I said fuck it and wen't to my regular doctor. Considering how messd up I am from service my doctor thought it was a joke that they would try me out with something like that. He presribes me oxycodone 30mg. 4 times a day. Love how the US takes care of their permenently fucked up soldiers. DOn't you?

@d2001griffiths Tramadol is a medication prescribed for hundreds of thousands of HUMANS as well as post-op pets. It's not some cheap animal-only medication an uncaring dr. tried to force on you because you're not worth it! Tramadol is molecularly similar to oxycodone, it's just manufactured synthetically. They are both opiate painkillers that work in the same exact way. Quit the neglected veteran act, they didn't try to pawn off animal pills on you...fucking crybaby

Although tramadols doesn't give you anywhere near the same sense of well-being that true narcotics do, they will stop "most" of the opiate withdrawals if you happen to run out of your normal pain meds, percocets or vicodins. Tramadols may not be true narcotics but they behave the same way on the receptors in the brain and spinal cord and fool the body into thinking its still getting the opiates. Be warned however, tramadols can be just as if not more addictive then the true narcotics.

tramadol is pretty weak dont expect much i take 100mg of tramadol and take 200mg of ultram er and they give a slight sense of well being but not much they barely affect opiod receptors.

Ultracet (tramadol) is a more dangerous than natural and semi-synthetic opioids, Ultracet is a dirty "wanna-be" opioid that doctors prescribe when scared of setting off alarm bells with the DEA for over-prescription of narcotics, but this in turn is not good practice for some patients who need a true narcotic, this is my informed opinion

I take/abuse Tramadol (Zydol) to get high, 500mg (10 * 50mg capsules) in one go.

It gives a great high as well as feeling calm and sleepy. The downside is I get Itchy all over my body sometimes scratching till I bleed.

I have two broken hips and I am waiting for a total hip replacement. I am on 200mg of tramadol a day, the active ingredient of Ultracet, and I wouldn't even know I was on it. "Useless" is the word I'm looking for and those of you wanting to get high should know that while it does bind with opiate receptors, it is around 1/6000 the strength of morphine in terms of its euphoric affect. This is the last drug in the world you could become addicted to. It also blocks the effect of other opiate drugs.
